LOL. Unfortunately, this happened in REAL life... so I can't just go and find the quote about Harkless. I know... real conversation.... WITH A REAL PERSON. :MARIS61:
He is going to be our definitive third best player by the end of the season. So glad we locked him down for 4 yrs at age 23.
I'd like to see Harkless as the Harrison Barnes of this team in a Golden State model. Always solid, and anything over 14 ppg is a pleasant surprise. If we could land a center like Vucevic as a 3rd option, it would be ideal.
Vucevic is ok (he's more of a scoring PF imo) but we better have another move lined up for a rim protector because Vucevic is atrocious defensively.
I really like Mo's game.....he's really young and hasn't even come close to where he's going to be as a player yet....he has one move that I'm not a fan of when he drives the lane....same one Nic Batum had that bugged me....the finger roll layup that always falls short....I want him to use the glass or dunk the thing but the finesse finger roll seems to fail him just like it used to fail Nico.....Nico did it I think because it looked cool...layups off the glass aren't as pretty
I feel like a jackass for not getting hyped when he came over. I really like his game and his demeanor right now. He reminds me of some 90's players for some reason.
I think part of his success is from just being accepted and trusted by his teammates and coaches. He just looks comfortable, like he knows he not only belongs in the NBA, but that he can thrive on this team. Amazing what that can do for a player.
