Alot of teams are over the cap right. What about the Mavs hahahaha. But yes i already signed Nash and ill take care of my salary cap when i get the chance. Dont worry how much i go over ill take care of that myself...
I have already made and offer to Carlos Boozer who has accepted,5 year 70 million dollar contract, the Cavs have 24 hours to match the ofer.

But yes i already signed Nash and ill take care of my salary cap when i get the chance. Dont worry how much i go over ill take care of that myself... </div> I'm not sure if you understand the cap... Teams cannot go over the cap to sign a Free Agent, unless they fall under the exception. The only exception: if teams are over the cap that is because they re-sign their own players due to "Larry Bird" rights. (I'm sure you've read about this in the Newspaper.) This is what allows New York to overpay Allen Houston no matter how much it is over the cap. However, another team could not have signed Allen Houston at that time. ONLY New York was allowed to go over the cap for its own player. This encourages players to stay on the same teams. Dallas did the same thing. It resigned Finley, it resigned Nowitski, and other players. Think about it this way: You have a budget. You can't go over budget except to keep something you already have. Otherwise the Mark Cubans of the world would sign Kobe Bryant right now! That's unfair, isn't it? What about the other teams who have saved their money? Thus you cannot sign Nash, it's illegal under the rules of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. It's like saying "Ok, I have $50 bucks to spend at a restaurant. I buy $50 worth of food. But I'm still hungry, so I'll buy this dessert for $10 and I have -$10 left." The restaurant wouldn't let you do that (well I hope not otherwise you've got people who are willing to give money away  ) Trading is an entirely different matter. You can trade if you are over the cap. That's how teams can still move players. But! They have to match up salaries, you have to give out as much salary as you take back. That's why the Mavs (in our mock game) got Shaq, for example. And that's why there's RealGM saying trades are declined due to the salary cap. If you don't understand, maybe I can explain it better? Feel free to ask questions if you don't understand my point.
Also Marcus Camby cant be a free agent because he resigned with Denver before this game started. Is anyone intrested in Andre Miller,Veshon Lenord,Earl Boykins?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Philla Fan 22:</div><div class="quote_post">Also Marcus Camby cant be a free agent because he resigned with Denver before this game started.</div> Yeah, the rules of this game a bit strange. Let me explain... Technically this game started on July 1, before any agreements were made. However, this wasn't made entirely clear. But,a lot of us re-signed players that were signed in RL for less money! (For example, Dallas resigned Marquis Daniels for way cheaper than the real Dallas did. That's a good deal eh?) If you want, you can try to sign Camby for less money. If you want the deal that Camby actually signed, I'll take him off the list. I left him up there because of that fact, I would feel bad if I didn't give teams that overpaid in RL the chance to give players an actually "fair" contract. But if you want to give him the 6 year, 60 million contract, I'm sure courtking would agree to that. Hope that clears up the confusion.. a lot of the rules are a bit fuzzy.
Let me figure something out today on Nash....here soon im going to release some of my players so dont go off and declare Nash a free agent again.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheAnswerIsAi3:</div><div class="quote_post">Let me figure something out today on Nash....here soon im going to release some of my players so dont go off and declare Nash a free agent again.</div> Okay. Consider Nash uh, "frozen." My list isn't official anyway, it's just to help those people who want to play but don't have the time to look through every single free agent signing AND all the chatter we have in here. It's tough to get into the game without it being organized a little bit.
Maybe I want to resign Nash, seeing i'm allowed to go over the cap to resign my own players. Yeah, think of that, you might not get Nash. But if I do sign him i'll trade him to you, that way i'll get something in return!
This thread want even made till the 7th so Camby already re signed, the Nuggets agreed on a deal on the second of July.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Philla Fan 22:</div><div class="quote_post">This thread want even made till the 7th so Camby already re signed, the Nuggets agreed on a deal on the second of July.</div> Cool man, I'll remove him from the list. I was just giving you a chance to resign him for cheaper and save some money. All good if you're happy with it!

Since you matched Martin you have him, someone said you matched it and I think that's that.
Realdealbneal has signed Mateen Cleaves of the Huntsville Flight (NBDL) for the league's minimum and for 2 years
