For salaries, http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries.htm is ok, but isn't complete. I also check out http://www.dfw.net/~patricia/contracts to double check. And, as always, you can use www.realgm.com although I think it needs to be updated.

I have a question....Jamal Crawford is a free agent...if i sign him...can i trade him afterwards? One more thing....say i trade for Shaq....then can i trade him afterwards.
I'm not quite sure how Courtking handles it, but usually players who are signed can't be traded until Dec. 15th of the season they're signed unless they accept a sign-and-trade immediately. If that were the case, the FA you were trying to sign-and-trade (in this case, JC) would have had to agree to the contract he's getting from the other team. (So let's say you were trading him to LA, you'd have to get JC to agree to go to LA before you could sign-and-trade him. You couldn't just ship him off.) Under the CBA, you also cannot use an exception-signed player in a sign-and-trade. That's not a problem for JC in this case since he's got Bird rights and can sign for whatever Chi wants to give him. As far as I know, except for players that technically have no-trade agreements, you can trade players immediately after you get them. (I mean, look at what happened to Sheed - Portland - 1 game for Atlanta - Detroit.) Technically only players with more than 8 years of experience and with at least 4 of those on one team get to even consider having a no-trade clause.

Yea once you sign a player you can't trade him...But! If he is a restriched FA and you re-sign him to your team you can trade him...

Can we trade future draft picks?</div> <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Courtking031:</div><div class="quote_post">Yes.</div> That is stupid in my opinion. If that is the case then I will trade my first round pick for the next 50 years for tons of quality players. If this game doesn't continue next year then I can trade away all my draft picks etc. The rule should be you can only trade players, and after every trade you post your team and their new cap situation.
