I think you could trade the draft picks, we're the ones voting eh? That way we'd see the roster and predict where that draft pick would end up approximately (Top 5, Lottery, Teens, Late First Round) and we know how much those players are worth. We'd only really have to evaluate the traded picks, too. So like if Mr. KG is MVP wanted to, we'd say, well his outlook would be to land in the playoffs for sure. Thus that pick is about worth a late first round guy, and at that point in the draft, that's like losing a role player/project. We'd do these evaluations ourselves and say "Hey, that was a good deal to give up only that pick" and vote. That was far too long for a theoretical-rule argument for this game. (Sorry)
I got the Wizards, who got the Clippers? Anyways, we'll be using RealGM to view trade scenario's right?

First Trade Hi, I am streetball2k3 GM of the Dallas Mavericks. I have completed a blockbuster sign and trade deal with Zhone, the GM of the Golden State Warriors. In the deal, players like Micheal Finley and the player Zhone signed and traded Erick Dampier. Zhone signed Erick Dampier to a 3 year 33 million dollar contract with an option for the forth year. With that signing completed, here is the deal: Dallas trades: PF Antoine Walker (14.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 34.6 minutes) SG Michael Finley (18.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.9 apg in 38.6 minutes) Dallas receives: PG Nick Van Exel (12.6 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 5.3 apg in 32.2 minutes) C Erick Dampier (12.3 ppg, 12.0 rpg, 0.8 apg in 32.5 minutes) PF Clifford Robinson (11.8 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 3.3 apg in 34.7 minutes) Change in team outlook: +4.1 ppg, +5.8 rpg, and +2.0 apg. Golden State trades: PG Nick Van Exel (12.6 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 5.3 apg in 32.2 minutes) C Erick Dampier (12.3 ppg, 12.0 rpg, 0.8 apg in 32.5 minutes) PF Clifford Robinson (11.8 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 3.3 apg in 34.7 minutes) Golden State receives: PF Antoine Walker (14.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 82 games) SG Michael Finley (18.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.9 apg in 72 games) Change in team outlook: -4.1 ppg, -5.8 rpg, and -2.0 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED Due to Dallas and Golden State being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Dallas and Golden State had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
