Which is why it sucks, because on TDM, that's the only thing people do. The only decent way to play this map is to play Domination on it.

And you are correct Run, Terminal is awesome. However, my favorite map, Rust, can only be played in FFA.

I'm gonna have to start playing different game modes because so far I've pretty much only played Mercenary Team Deathmatch.

    Finally got the M16!

    I hate people like you.

You should do Ground War, that's generally what I do. It's 12-18 player TDM or Domination, randomly choosing between those two game modes.

I don't do that, I hate it too. It's just a good way to get points, I assume.

They fixed the glitch that made you run suuuuuuupppppper fast when holding a canister that you are supposed to throw for a relief package....real fun while it lasted, but i understand

Make sure you throw out all your UAVs, care packages, etc. Other than that I can't think of much besides play well. Get headshots, kill guys on killstreaks, get killstreaks, etc. You also get a lot of points for certain achievments with weapons. i.e. after a certain number of kills with X weapon you get 10,000 experience.

Basically just keep playing and get better.

I like Ground War too, because with the bigger teams it's more chaotic, and harder to camp. Campers don't bother me though, it's just a game.

Those running, knifing, care package glitchers were weak though, glad it's gone.

Ronan, what's the deal with Counter Strike source? Is it similar to Modern Warfare?

The Counter-Strike series is the most successful first-person shooter ever created, no debate.

Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Source (Source referring to Valve's Source engine which was used for Half-Life, Day of Defeat, etc.) still have millions of active players even though 1.6 was released in 2000 while Source was released in 2004 (Source is a huge graphics boost but many hardcore players still swear by 1.6 due to it's gameplay).

The Counter-Strike series also opened up competitive gaming to the industry with hundreds of different leagues opening up. CS has seen better times though as many of the biggest leagues have died but I'll never give up on it! :)

    Oh:

Basically in CS:S, it is a team vs. team fight. Counter-Terrorists have to defuse the bomb in "de_" maps or rescue the hostages in "cs_" maps. Terrorists have to plant the bomb in "de_" maps or stop the Counter-Terrorists rescuing the hostages in "cs_" maps. Lots of different guns to choose ranging from AK-47 to M4A1 to M3.

Very simple game, very good game, and definitely one of the best FPS ever made.

My connection is complete shit when trying to find games, so I have to join games that ppl on my friend's list are in just to get in games. It's also a lot better having a full party/group joining games so you don't get these random bitches that go and feed the other team kills, or boost w/ them.

Run around games like headquarters or domination w/ a riot shield and shotgun with blast shield. Then get the cap points while deflecting the bullet damage. You get made points even if you don't kill ppl. Also try leveling up the weapons w/ the different attachments instead of having set classes.

Akimbo Ranger shotguns = insanely dominant. For some reason I'm just worse with the M16 than I am with my SCAR. Its weird because I started off hating the the SCAR for a lack of 3 round burst...

    I hate 3 round burst.

    I'm still usin' the M4A1.

I want to switch it up, but I've got so many damn options on my gun.

It's pretty damn easy to pimp guns out. Only takes an hour or two to get most, if not all of the attatchments for most guns.

Might start going back to the SCAR but I guess I'll probably end up pimping out a bunch of primary guns. Seems like its all for naught though if I'm going to prestige...
