If you're going to prestige, just use SCAR until you prestige. You unlock "Veteran" challenges and stuff after you prestige that get you titles and emblems, which makes it pointless to level up multiple guns unless you are looking for extra points during your first prestige.
And since it was mentioned, I fucking HATE Akimbo Shotguns. They're so fucking cheap. You don't even have to aim them if you duel wield, I die so frequently when people just aim and shoot in my general direction. Plus, the amount of range they have is BS as well. I should not die from 200 feet with one fucking shotgun blast.
I'm now in love with the FAL. Finally gave up on the M16 tonight after sucking ass with it for a while. Sucked with the SCAR too though. Decided to stop using heartbeat sensor because I knew it was making me a worse player. Still sucked with the SCAR as I had grown unaccustomed to the crazy recoil on it. Gave the FAL a second chance and I fuggin love it. Good power, good range, good accuracy. Gonna roll without a heartbeat sensor for a while now too. Its crazy how much worse I get when I haven't played the game in a few days. They're sick man. I HATED dying by them as well but once you get them its a revelation in close range combat lol. There's a lot of things in this game that I am morally against- camping, putting on unlimited sprint and lightweight while melee-ing or shotgunning, last stand to a certain extent etc. But double shottys aint one of them. Especially with other people sporting akimbo weapons. Its frustrating to get killed by them for sure so long as the person isn't just running circles around the map with them I'm not against it. Its no more frustrating than dudes who wreck shop with akimbo magnums or machine pistols. It is odd that they seem to have good range when akimbo but not single though... Obviously its double the damage but the other shotguns in the game basically do NOTHING outside of 20 feet. You're also right that it takes zero skill to aim. Its laughable when they describe akimbo weapons as "harder to aim with". If there's anyone within that gigantic spread almost ever bullet is going to drill them.
Sooo...I sold this game. As much as I loved initially, I couldn't stand it anymore, lol. It went bye-bye for Mass Effect 2 (which is epic, as noted by my gushing about it in my thread).
I do akimbo G18's with an M16 and stopping power. I'm a camping bitch and I only play CTF. A lot of the time I get 40-5 or 50-5 records. People constantly accuse me of hacking, but I'm just camping. It's good times I have yet to nuke, but I get the C130 regularly.
I didn't regret it, because I got over 50hrs of entertainment out of the online, so it was well worth the purchase. It just wore out it's welcome in my game rotation, mainly because of cheap bastards online.
Nope. Like I said, I'm completely happy with the purchase, I thoroughly enjoyed the game for a couple of months. It just eventually got old.
How did you sell this game...I thought that "Steam" made it hard to sell....how much you sell it for? ebay?
I doubt he sold it for the PC, it isn't even worth it. If you're going to sell a game on Steam you have to sell your whole account -- There isn't a way to gift games to players once they've been bought for you "yourself".
I had it for the 360 amigo, and I actually got $35 for it, which is a decent turnaround on a game nowadays.
