    And, at the exact same time, you also had the Lakers/Celtics (McHale clothesline of Rambis) and Pistons/Celtics (Chief bitchslapping Laimbeer).

    Such intense rivalries back them. Guys really and truly hated their opponents. And, as rough and physical as it was, I don't remember any serious injuries as a result of anything that happened on the court between those teams.
