If you can point me to any prior example of a Blazers-related thread that was intentionally opened in the OT section and then moved by a mod to the main page, then I'll happily consider your request to move this one in the name of being "consistent".

Is a Blazer thread off topic? No

Naw, i'll just go and start a trump thread in the Blazers section. How fast do you think that one will last?

Football threads are all over the Blazer page...nobody moves them ever....that's the consistent policy about the Blazers page that baffled me...in the end, I don't have to read those threads anyway if I choose...I keep just reminding myself of that.

You can delete the thread if this becomes a problem.
I opened it in the off topic as I think the subject is not really Blazers but philosophy about what a Basketball fan hopes to get. To me Basketball is the best game in which to see or hope to see great team building in action. The ultimate is done in real life action, like specialized team in various areas of business, and the military. Basketball is the game where team building can be practiced sort of out of harms way. Makes it exciting to see a team approaching perfection.
Watching great athletes exorcise their skills over and over again, not quite the same.

I'm actually curious what you think Stotts is doing wrong. What are the big changes that you'd make if you were coach?

and exactly how is it different? Is a trump thread on topic in the Blazer section when there is an off topic section? No. Is a Blazer thread on topic in the OT section when a Blazer section exists? No.

I don't even think he watches very many games. at least he complained a lot about not being able to get the games.

Do you honestly think it's a good look to pretend to be stupid just so you can argue with someone?

@MarAzul said I should check in once in a while. I'm not sure why he wants me to, misery loves company?

    >>>Actually this is part of why this thread exists. He may not be doing a damn thing wrong. He may be doing it all exactly right. Depends on what the Owner wants. Depends on what the fans need to keep buying seats.

We would strive to play Basketball. Put the ball in the basket by a man on the way to hoop. I kind a like the word Downhill here. @BonesJones

Well, that's a good thing for a basketball team to do, I suppose. Is that different though? Is Stotts having them play hockey?

So you like layups? Is that what you are saying? Fewer jump shots, more layups?

    So you don't like Nordic?

Hey, great to see you still around. It's come to my attention that you're still upset over that personal insult thing. Again, I would like to apologize for that.

What in the hell is this thread actually about? I read it and it seems disjointed.

I know we got swept but I wouldn't say we got "smoked" by them. We led for most of those games. If a bounce goes our way in Game 2, we go home with a 1-1 split and the confidence to close the deal in Games 3 & 4.

Come on, MarAzul. I can’t help but notice how much worse of a coach Steve Kerr is this year without Durant, Thompson, Iggy, Livingston, and now Curry. And I think Stotts may have been smart enough to beat the Warriors last year with Nurk and with healthy versions of Dame and Kanter. Coach IQ does seem to be somewhat correlated to healthy talent.
