Remember this old topic? Stats so far... Collins - 1091 yds passing, 6 TDs, 0 INTs QB Rating: 94.7 Culpepper - 1019 yds passing, 4 TDs, 10 INTs QB Rating: 67.2 Yeah, it's still early, but wow...
I think it is a bit early to call this contest. One factor that isn't being taken into consideration is that Culpepper lost his offensive coordinator as well. I really believe that Culpepper misses Linehan much more than he misses Randy Moss. If you asked me which QB I would rather have, at this point, I still say Culpepper without any hesitation.
Oh, I'm not saying that Collins is better than Culpepper. I'm just saying that it's kind of interesting to look at the numbers so far this season. Losing the O-Coordinator and Moss and having that awful offensive line aren't helping Culpepper's numbers at all. That, and Burleson is injured and the ground game in non-existent and... Blah, blah, blah
Culpepper has the more powerful arm. Collins has the most accurate (probably because of Moss). Collins will be better at least Temporarily because of that Vikings sex scandal that will have Vikings players suspended.
I am not to sure about Collins having a accuarte arm. He's always been known to throw picks left in right. This year is different. I guess from what you got so far with the stats it shows that Randy Moss indeed is the type of WR that will make QB's look better. Now it's early but if the season were to end looking like that then maybe Culpepper is the crazy one. Props to Collins though. I didn't hear him comment on the situation. Thats whats probably best for the team.
Don't forget the Vikings also lost their all-pro center as well. Plus Culpepper has been playing with an injured leg all season...
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BearsFan1)</div><div class='quotemain'>Moss is probably right.</div> What Moss said wasn't bad, he is being honest. I think he is right. Culpepper does get flushed out of the pocket and Collins may have better pocket presence. At least he didn't accuse his QB of being gay!!!
