Who is this years most disappointing team for you?

I really though that the lightning were going to make a splash this year, all teh signings, I like Melrose, and so on....but it looks like St. Louis is gonna get shipped out of there soon and crap is falling APART!

Pittsburgh Penguins - they should be better then their current position in the standings.

Dallas Stars. I knew Avery was a bad signing but they have blown thus far.

Pittsburgh definitely, and Ottawa to a certain extent. They weren't all that impressive last year but there's no reason they should be so far out of the playoff race. Their Big 3 have been in a season-long slump.

From the East i'm going with the Lightning who had high expectations coming into the season as potential division winners but there's no hope at this point. I'll also include the Senators who are tied with the Lightning with 32 points. The Flyers and Hurricanes have exceeded expectations.

From the West the first team that comes to mind is Dallas. With 39 points they're still in the race for the playoffs but it's not looking too good. Including Edmonton would be a bit of a reach since they're only 2 points behind 8th in the standings but i thought they would be in decent playoff position nearing the All Star break. Phoenix and Chicago have exceeded expectations but i don't see Phoenix hanging on to the last spot for the playoffs.

The Senators have actually been thinking of blowing up the roster and dealing Spezza. Their big 3 used to be absolutely lethal 2 seasons ago.

Pittsburgh as of late but Tampa Bay has just been really bad all year and i thought theyd be in the top 5 of the east.... Dallas is most disappointing in the west
