Also, Illmatic > Anything Tupac has ever dropped. Furthermore, you have to be joking if your not saying Tupac isn't a gangster rapper, the whole thug life crap isn't being a gangster? Ice Cube was the first one to have that style and rap about it every time and Tupac soon copied. What I'am trying to say is there is not just one who influenced and there shouldn't be a debate about who influenced the genre more, it's like trying to argue who was more important out of Queen, Halen, Zeppelin and so on.

Yeah, I don't see how rap's most influential is 2pac, that's just stupid. I can't see how rap has changed since he started. How exactly did he influence the genre? Did he actually change anything about it? I'd say not much.And yeah, Elvis did sing country. He was from Tennessee, for Christ sakes. He didn't just do rock, he did gospel, country, bluegrass, etc.Rap- NWACountry- I want to argue someone besides Johnny Cash, but I don't know country that well.Rock- I think this is pretty broad, but I guess I'd have to say the Beatles.Pop- Michael Jackson for newer pop, but the idea of pop was probably created through Elvis.

Rap-Tupac Shakur. Most influential isn't always the first.Country- Johnny CashRock- Paul, George, Ringo and JohnPop- MJMetal- This is tough to say, because there is hard rock, and then there is metal. Hard Rock is Robert Plant, and Metal might just have to be Metallica's lead singer.Classical- There is no singing in Classical. But, Mozart was a stud.
