Napolean Dynamite. That was the most retarded movie I have ever seen and everyone thought it was the funniest thing ever. People were constantly quoting him, wearing vote for pedro shirts, etc.

I laughed so hard at that part.

The best movies are ones where you can learn something from others' mistakes. Of course, not every movie with a negative ending is going to be great, but a lot of the best movies ever have, at best, a bunch of negatives to prove a point. Furthermore, when you have a negative ending, it blurs the lines between reality and just a movie. Life isn't all lollipops and cotton candy.
Napolean Dynamite isn't worth talking about.Generally when I say a comedy isn't funny, it translates to: "There were very few memorable parts in the movie"When I say Napoleon Dynamite isn't funny, it translates to: "There was never a time in the movie where the outskirts of my lips curled upwards in the least. I never even thought about giving out a chuckle. Not only was the movie so completely un-funny that I almost fell asleep, but the movie itself was simply so stupid I almost switched it off countless times."Simply put, Napoleon Dynamite was the worst movie I ever saw. Period. However, the movie is not memorable enough or viewed as greatly historically to really be in any overrated/underrated categories.

Scarface is wildly overrate, but its still an amazing movie, and the ending is amazing IMOThe worst movie for people impersonating people isn't Napoleon Dynamite, its Borat, people saying Jagsamesh, Borat is funny, YOU ARE NOT!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Simply put, Napoleon Dynamite was the worst movie I ever saw. Period.</div> Was it really the worst movie you ever saw Kmart? I don't like how that gets thrown around at every movie that's hated on. But if it was, more power to you. To me, it had some laughs and for what it was, a ok movie. I've seen worse in my heyday. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>the movie is not memorable enough or viewed as greatly historically to really be in any overrated/underrated categories.</div> Pop culture wise and how it's viewed makes it overrated.

One question though, why do you skip the ending?
I don't like the way he gets killed, it was a bi*ch way to get killed, there he is taking all the bullets and then he gets shot from behind, that was just stupid to me, I mean at least kill him in front of his face lol

Then shoot him, it would be typical bad guy mistake. It is funny though seeing him taking all those bullets then taking one from the back and falling into the water. But I think that's what makes it so memorable.
I think that scene sort of symbolizes his life in a sense. He's there, kicking everyone's ass, yet he never knew what was going on behind his back...

I'll add Crash to the list. That won alot of awards and everyone was talking about it, then I watched it, and there was no real plot. It just kept jumping around to different situations. I hated it. would've been much better as a tv series.
Are you serious dogma? That movie was one of the greatest movies I have ever scene. It was kind of showing how all these peoples lives get F*cked up in a period of time.

That movie tries to evoke emotions out of you with cliches and stereotypical bullcrap. Also, this is why I declare Bobby the Crash of this year. If your going to that movie expecting a depiction of the life of Bobby Kennedy your wrong, it's basically about other people in the area where he was shot. It's Crash in a building. Showing montages of Bobby from old videos is not attempting to make a movie about him.
I don't think Crash was one of the greatest movies ever, but it was very entertaining and pretty hilarious overall. People trash talk it all the time, so I wouldn't call it overrated at all.
