Kobe is overated. People say he is at the top of the league now and all he did was make it to the playoffs with a mediocre team and score 81 points. If he isnt overated then I dont know who is

They have a lot of work to do in retooling their roster.

Nash overrated?? Are you kdding me...you dont win consecutive MVP awards for nothing, no other PG in the league would be able to turn the Suns around like Nash did...Kidd would be the closest. I gaurantee you that if Nash replaced Iverson on the sixers, Davis on the Warriors or Gilbert on the Wizards that those teams would dramatically improve and you would have alot of new players reaching career highs. NASH MADE DIAW!! Has anyone actually seen Diaw play in Atlanta?? Diaw was soo garbage in Atlanta and on the Suns he is one of their best players...Look at the past playoffs, whenever the Suns played consecutive games or two games in 48 hours they struggled as Nash was playing with a sore back. When the Suns had two days off Nash had his rest and then played like himself and led the Suns to victory with ease.Nash Overrated? I dont think so...I think alot of people on hear are debating more on the fact that Nash should of or shouldnt of been a 2 time MVP then whether he is overrated.

Nash made Diaw? I don't think he even made 5 shots all season with a Nash assist. He did better because D'Antoni took him out of the PG position and put him in the front court where he excelled. His assists, rebounding and defense had nothing to do with Nash. He got his points down low and jump shots when no one was defending him because he isn't really a proven shooter. It also kind of helps that it was his 3rd season which is when most players do well and he got some playing time on a decent team. Nash had nothing to do with Diaw at all. Nash helps jumpshooters and guys like Marion and Amare with alley-oops and nice passes inside.D'Antoni put Diaw in a position were he could play up to his potential. Nash didn't do much. And you don't think Raja, Kurt and Amare's injuries or Marion and TT playing hurt and James Jones too sometime later last season didn't hurt this team in the playoffs either? It wasn't just Nash that was having injury problems.

KG is not overrated. I agree with the person who said Nate Rob is overrated, he is one of the best rookies in Live 06 and 2k6. He is really entertaining and I love to watch him, but I don't think he will be great.

Grant Hill got more votes than him in the All-Star ballot and Grant played less than 10 games before the All-Star break. He is on an average team so he gets overlooked. I think he is underrated if anything.

Steve Nash, I understand that he makes his team better with being so unselfish and his team has great chemistry focusing towards him but he honestly does not deserve two MVP awards in a row. He's definetely an all-star however he is way overrated by the league. Just commenting on some of the people that have been mentioned. Kobe isn't overrated, you can't call someone who has lead his team alongside Shaq to the championship and this year scored 81 points. Tyrus Thomas is going to become overrated so much attention this year has gone towards him. Whoever said Steve Nash was part of the best 5 PG's, he is tied for the 5th IMO: 1. Allen Iverson 2. Chauncey Billups 3. Jason Kidd 4. Gilbert Arenas 5. Steve Nash/Tony Parker

I would definetly take him all-time over Nash but there's no question Nash is better right now.

GArenas, you are retarded if you have Gilbert Arenas and others ahead of Steve Nash at pg. Gilbert Arenas is a joke running an offense.

Gilbert Arenas is a 2 guard that is running an offense. I agree though that no way Gilbert Arenas is no where near Nash's level.

gilbert arenas and steve nash are different type of players, its like comparing kobe and shaq - shaq cant hit a jumper and kobe cant dunk three guys through the hoop at once
