The refs were terrible in that Buck/Sixer series, and I fully believe that the Bucks got hosed because the calls were so terrible. I refused to watch a game after that series. Back to the point though, AI is not overrated.
Vintage who do you agree with james or the other guy. You Jsut said how crooked the nba is and yet you ride ai. Look I am not downing Ai as a player an individual he's great. But form the stats and stuff that got him to the playoffs didnt win him a ring. The game is a team sport no one can win by themselves. Kevin Garnet couldn't last year. And shaq couldn't when he was with the Magic.

The Sacramento/Los Angelas series two years ago saw some horrible officiating. But Sacramento has only themselves to blame. They had plenty of chances to win it on their own. But they blew it. Same applied for Milwaukee. Referees are not an excuse for a loss. It only is if you make it one. Had Milwaukee or Sacramento taken care of their business, they wouldn't have been in that type of situation.

Read the above post for clarification. AI didn't win a ring. But he got them there. And he gave them a chance. Despite Phili being outmanned, Phili stood a chance because of AI, not in spite of him. There is only so much a one player can do by himself. Even MJ didn't win until Pippen came along. If AI ever had someone of that caliber alongside him, I think we'd be seeing a different situation, and all of this would be moot. Unfortunetly, he doesn't. And its not his fault. You are saying you cannot win alone, and that its a team sport. If thats true, then how can you say AI is overrated bec. he hasn't won anything? He hasn't had a sidekick of Kobe's/Shaq's caliber.

I define a player with or without a ring based on his skill. So this would mean that T-Mac is a fake too? Paul Pierce? All overrated in your eyes but to me these are the next great players to carry the torch for the NBA.
