Just like Jermaine....allstar getting Nurkic in Denver minutes....underrated by the coach and the organization apparently. I'm working the Portland slant here..Sheed is a good example...so is O'neal....

I agree Strick was a jerk off the court but fab on it.

    Agree on Ainge comments.

    But what about Batum-shakalaka!

I think Batum was overrated early (when many, myself included, thought he had Pippen potential) and underrated late, when many (myself not included) decided he was a bum because he wasn't consistently excellent.

You are correct! I wonder where I picked up that idea, because I've had it for a while...

    Only if either
    (a) you're talking about different groups of people or
    (b) the words mean nothing.

He was a great addition to the team in 89, arguably the final piece of the puzzle. Loved him, was my 2nd favorite player at the time (TP was, and is, my favorite former Trail Blazer). He's one of the better PF's to play for the team, but if you look at his stats you realize he wasn't as productive as we remember, nor was his defense as good as we remember.

And yes, I'm talking about two different groups who overrate him and underrate him. Some think he was awesome, and some think he was a serviceable PF at the time.
