Andrei Kirilenko, obviously. Even the Jazz organization underrates him by hesitating to give him a max contract
i don't know:Smaggete?:S but what about jamaal magloire:S he made the allstar squad and was the highest scorer for the east but i don't hear aboout him these days:S
PJ Brown gets no mention despite being one of the best rebounders and post defenders in the league. Another underrated player is Juwan Howard. Many people say that he's crap and all because he was overpaid and the expectations for him were higher than what he was able to accomplish, but he's still a solid starter and offensive player. 17/7 stats last year don't make a scrub.
being a T-Wolves fan, i have to say fred hoiberg and trenton hassell were also underrated. without them, they wouldnt have got to the play-offs. and lets not forget brent barry. that guy is a solid offensive threat and a good defender, with nice court vision, yet we never see his name get mentioned.
I think some people have over underatted Kirilenko, he's a great all-round player, but I don't think he's yet to be considered a player you can build a team on till he proves it. Yes the Jazz did good last year, but it wasn't by some individual Andrei effor it was a team thing. I don't think JJ is underatted, the only underatted thing about him would be his defense. I think Jason Terry is underatted as a PG and as a defender, people don't give enough respect to his ability to pass and also his defensive abilities which are pretty good. I think someone that has also fallen under the radar is Andre Miller, maybe it's just me, but he's still a pretty good PG. I definately agree with PJ Brown, this guy is an amazing post defender, and he's a good rebounder, he can also hit the mid-range J, and still get some blocks once in a while, he's a great player to have on your team. Why do some think most udneratted player means who on your team do you feel is better than other fans give them credit for, that's not really what it means
Kenny Thomas, the guy puts up double-doubles like it's crazy, he is a 6'7" power forward and can do the dirty work. I agree with og Andre Miller is quite underrated...
Since I am a Sixers fan I got to give props to Kenny Thomas.Like Courtking said,he is often undersized but still manages to put up a double double every night. Keep in mind that Kenny is 6'7,but averaged 13.6ppg andd 10.1rpg while Jamaal Magloire averaged 13.6ppg and 10.3rpg.What I am tring to say is that Magloire was an all star, and a smaller player is putting up identical numbers to him,so really KT puts up All Star numbers up in the East, but he is rarely talked about.
Oh yes KT, I don't believe I forgot about him, he's a beast on the offensive glass, has some offensive skills, and he's all-round a pretty good player. The height hurts him a little at the PF position, but he has the long arms and the athleticism to slightly overcome that.
Nikoloz Tskitishvili is one of the most underrated players in the league. He has been around for 2 years, and no one really knows his game. He has a great touch around the basket, can shoot the 2, and oh yeah, he's 7 feet tall. He is really like a younger version of Dirk Nowtizki (he's 21) and I suggest you look for him to break out soon. Given the chance, he could be great. He just needs to get out of Denver...
Brent Barry is a underated player, he has good defensive skills, is one of the most successful outisde shooters in the league, great court vision and passing skills for a shooting guard. yet most pple only remember him for winning the dunk contest. :S
hell yea kenny thomas how could i have forgotten about him. the guy's a beast. i mean he averages double figures and still doesn't get a all-star berth:S that isweird.
Damn, this is a major duplicate thread. Link:http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22076 I said the 2 most under-rated were Joe Johnson and Cuttino Mobley.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting thedude9990:</div><div class="quote_post">quintin richardson hes so damn good come one. </div> Joe Johnson is better than him. Q-Rich doesn't impress me that much.
