I really hope this trade doesn't go down... for real I hope we give up EJ instead of Haslem and Wright. Haslem and Wright are both young and amazing potetntial... Haslem is already doing great.

If we trade them, the Heat organization will pay for it when those 2 explode in Toronto.

I'll be pissed if this trade happens.
Haslem gave us nothing but 110% effort and have been doing the dirty job. If I was an NBA coach, I would love to have a guy like that. This trade is a no no

    first of all

i just want to say as a hornets fan...yes i know im saying that on a public board...zo didnt put miami on the map for the first 12 years of his carreer so get your facts straight..secondly zo doesnt even know if hes gonna make it all year.20 games in and hes allready hit the dl cause his body isnt holding up so before you guys go throwing shaq and zo as the number 1 center combo in the league i urge you to rethink this,by the way the team zo did put on the map the first 8 years of his carreer was charlotte hornets.

secondly even if this deal gets done ...donyell cant even start in toronto how do you think hes gonna just come in and steal the job?

thirdly rose started his carreer as a point guard and made the transition to the 2 guard..you really think the selfishness he has gained with having to be the scorer at the 2 spot is gonna allow him to be unselfish again and become a 4rth or 5th option?this is a bad trade for miami.they have the peices in place now that they need to make a title run and i for one think they will despite my allmost irrefudable hate for shaq.

    It gonna be:
    Heat send-
    Eddie Jones
    Udonis Haslem
and 1or2 of the three (Dorell Wright, Wesley Person, Malik Allen)

    Raptors send-
    Alonzo Mourning
    Donyell Marshall
    Jalen Rose
and maybe a First draft pick.

It will be the deal who steps up the Heat to a lately level in the Playoff...
    The Raps... less.

you honestly think that losing haslem and jones and getting rose and marshall is gonna get you to the playoffs?hahahahaha heat wont even make the playoffs without haslem and jones sorry boys...zo may not even play the rest of the season he has said his body broke down too quickly he may not be able to go...and haslem is a beast..sure jones is struggling but anyone who watched the game saturday against the lakers knows jones can still ball and is more than twice the player rose is.

as i said in the raps forum about the trade espn is reporting...i really just dont see it going down

raps dont want, EJ, person or malik. if the deal includes both wright and haslem i see it happening, but the espn deal doesnt do anything for the raps down the road which is clearly what babcock's vision is.

raps are obviously in rebuild mode...and we arent about to take on some aging players and another horrible contract.

but for you guys the trade is awesome...donyell is terrific on the boards and gives another 3pt threat to stretch out the defense. his game would really compliment shaq's and vice versa. plus with wade sliding over to the 2-spot which imo he's clearly suited at...you guys become legit title contenders.

wow, you shouldn't be talking if you don't know what your talking about. The reason Donyell doesn't start is because our starting PF is Chris Bosh. If we didn't have a great young player with a lot of potential on the Raptors then Yell would start no prob.

I really hope this trade doesn't go down. I admit Haslem is a great hustle player, however we already have a budding Power Forward in Bosh. Bosh also has more potential at the scoring end, and often times pulls double teams.

I haven't seen Dorrell this year, and I think Jalen is more talented than Eddie Jones. Jalen has stepped it up, and can create his own shot. Eddie seems to struggle to make open threes. So from a Raptors standpoint, I believe we have nothing to gain.

However for the heat, I think they move up the ranks with San Antonio.

    PG: Jones / Dooling
SG: Wade / Does he really need a backup?
SF: Rose** btw, Rose is much more accustomed and is built for the 3 than EJ
    PF: Donyell / Laettner
    C: Shaq / Zo

[IMG] you dont start anyone besides, probably superstars, before you start Bosh who has the potential to be as good, or better the KG, and if you doubt it compare the numbers

LOL you really are stupid I WAS IMPILYING TO SOME GUY NAMED DUNKZILLA20, DID YOU SEE THE QUOTES? NO YOU DID NOT.

Also NO Heat fan here wants this trade to happen.
Only Raptor fans say they want this to happen because it GIVES THEM A GREAT potential in Udonis Haslem and it gives us crappy contracts.

Alright, let's get back on to subject somewhat...this is startting to turn into a small war... haha.

We all know Bosh is a great player, and big men take longer to develop. Bosh will be a great player in the future, not sure if as good as KG but he will be good. There's no arguing there.

I think Marshall could come in and take the starting job in Miami. The reason he's not starting in Toronto is because Bosh is the future and they want him to develop fast. Plus Bosh gives Toronto more of an inside presence than Marshall does.

I feel we could benefit from this trade, but I dont' like giving up Wright and Haslem at all... 2 budding stars.
