I saw It last night. It wasn't all that frightening, but I really liked the movie. It was interesting to see the Stranger Things kid play a different role.

The Battle of Algiers. Save the Ken Burn's Vietnam and first watch this pseudo-documentary. This is so much more effective. It's a bitter morality tale about the uselessness of fighting againsst guerrilla conflicts and counter-insurgency as well the nature of political violence. The French use torture and brutal tactics to achieve an strategic victory that will never come. In light of recent conflicts, this film smacks you in the face.

Wonder woman....meh. Like her and Capt Kirk but pretty boring otherwise. Not terrible, looked and sounded awesome but didn't have much of a story.

It was a typical super hero movie, you turn your brain off for a couple of hours, enjoy the cgi, and forget about it within a day of watching it.

I'd heard it was awesome. I literally think social media fawning over a female superhero made people virtue signal about a freakin movie. People were even mad she didn't have armpit hair.

Still better than the upcoming Aquaman movie and probably better than the third Spiderman reboot in 15 years.

Just watched the newest Transformer movie. Was just as good as Wonder Woman despite getting slammed as usual.

It was mildly amusing and beautiful to look at and listen to.

Saw Flatliners. It has a pulse. After I left the theatre I was pleased. And I wasn't please. The movie was fun to watch, kept my attention from start to end, but in the end was found wanting. Keifer Sutherlands character was horribky underused to say the least. He appeared in what amounted to a cameo...though for some reason change his characters name. They should have kept it the same. It made no difference. They should have utilized his character and tied in the film with the original( they do this minimumally). Maybe bring back Kevin Bacon and Julia Roberts. (Though maybe that would have been too much) Flatliners is a remake pretending to be a sequel. I am aggravated because I see its potential, to have been so much better, and to have paved the way for a third film in the series.
Still it was well written, well casted. The filmakers went the way of making it a movie of its own accord. It functions well and is fun to watch. I am glad to have seen it.

Just watched 'Ice Guardians' last night on Netflix. It's about NHL enforcers. Really, really good. It's a must watch for any hockey fan. @Mediocre Man @BigGameDamian
