To put an end to this discussion, changes are coming. You can view the template in development at http://www.nfl-forums.com/news/nfc.php ...it is the beginning of the new nfl-forums website.

Zackman...as crass as you are and sarcastic as you can be, I agree with you. No one team should represent this site. The image will change!

zack - are you in acting? You are very emotional, and you seem like a good fit to play someones younger, whiney brother. Who cares what the picture is? Do you write espn.com and nfl.com and cnnsi.com when they have a picture of moss on the homepage? It's a picture of a good receiver making a good catch, nothing more, nothing less. You're making it out to be something it just isn't. Get over it. Now the admin is going to change it for you, and that's fine, I like the new idea, but your pouting is sad.

I'm not pouting ... I tell it like it is. The Admin has agreed with me on this issue because I was RIGHT! You my friend are a bias/blind Viking fan from St. Paul. Are you so blind that you also think the Admin didn't know how to spell Detroit? Our do you think spelling it RIOT is fine and dandy? If I call your dead Senator Paul Welfair ... I don't say I spelled it wrong! I say that bum was a socialist!

    THAT'S THE WAY IT IS!

I'm sure the administrator knows how to spell Detroit, but can't typos happen? One typo does not make a racist. Like when the Pats forum was spelled New Englad? Sometimes people make mistakes. However, it's in the past. It has been corrected. Can't we move on?

Dale .. Dale .. Dale [IMG] It was waaaay more than one "typo". Just look threw VikingFan's posts in the Lions and Viking Forums. I've said before, "I don't have a problem with it in the forums" ... but it was "Bush League" to spell it that way on a Forum Heading.

I've also said "I never thought the Admin. was a racist". That post was satire and sarcasim designed to get answers ... and it worked.

Lastly I'd like a little credit, along with VikingFan for making this forum better. The Lombardi Trophy was a sugestion that I had. Spelling Detroit and New England correctly on their respective "Forum Headings" can be connected to my speaking up.

    PROPS PLEASE [IMG]

Zackman. Thanks for the compliment on the new look of the forum. To clear things up, spelling Detroit Detriot was a mistake, regardless of what you may say or think. You are giving me waaayyy too much credit for referencing race riots in Detroit back in the 60's...I like obscure references, but that would be tasteless and is also beyond my ability to make obscure references.

It was a mispelling, not a typo...I kept spelling it incorrectly out of error...nothing more.

Can we PLEAAASEE end this debate now??? It is really boring and I'm sure new visitors don't find it too interesting.

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Zackman)</div><div class='quotemain'>PROPS PLEASE [IMG]</div>

Ok, Ok, props for being the forum whiner (I refrained from using a stronger word). My view and opinion is that the admin agreed with you and changed the site because it's not that big of a deal and he's probably sick and tired of having to read your complaining. You are the only one with a problem, and since no one else cares about the picture, I wouldn't be surprised if the change was made just to shut you up. Of course, the admin might have agreed with you and changed it because of your "good" suggestions, but I have serious doubts about that. Are you so blind that you think anyone would refer to the "riots"? I can think of much more clever ways to rip on Detroit, but since that?s not why I'm here, I will again refrain.

You truly are classless to rip on a dead person. Although Paul was a socialist, he had nothing but good intentions and a big heart. To misspell his name and call him a bum shows your true ignorance. If you think putting down dead people is "fun," then maybe you need to visit your local psych ward and the nearest church. I didn't like Paul's politics, in fact I thought they were idiotic, but as a man he was as good as it gets. If you ever mention a misspelling of Detroit again after calling a dead man a bum and degrading his name, then you, my simple friend, are a hypocrite.... THAT is the way it is.

Nice suggestion with the NFL logo, I'm sure the admin would love to get sued. I'm going to ignore all your posts unless you actually post something about FOOTBALL. THAT'S WHY I'M HERE! Can you prove to everyone that you aren't here just to whine and pout? I'm sick of reading your thoughtless, meaningless ramblings.

Rube Cred ... I had never attacked you or called you names. I've just reread your posts and you say you "LOVE" Randy Moss. Now your're attacking me because the man you "LOVE" in no longer the face of this Forum. You are the "Whinner" and likely a closet homosexual. Get over it! I don't care it "Randy" makes you "Randy"!

You claim it's classless to rip on a dead person. Would your logic include other dead socialists like Karl Marx or Adolf Hitler?

You also claim that Paul Wellstone "was as good as it gets as a man" ... coming from a guy who claims he "Loves" Randy Moss, your opinion is worthless.

I'm sick of your whinning and pouting about losing the one you "LOVE".

Zach, you disappoint me. The "You love Randy Moss. Your a homo." schtick is just a rehash of the old "You love Kordell Stewart. Your a homo" schtick. The idiots who came up with the Kordell stuff were total morons. I would have expected something more original and inventive from you. However, I will give you credit for thinking up the Lombardi trophy idea. Considering that your a Lions fan, I didn't think you knew what the Lombardi trophy was. [IMG]

Well we were actually thinking of a good pic of Ty Detmer when he tied the single game record for INTs, but then again, that wouldn't be fair. [IMG]

Zackman...world of difference between ripping Paul Wellstone and Karl Marx. Karl Marx doesn't have family and friends that knew him personally still alive today. Its a matter of time. I personally couldn't stand Wellstone, but I am still saddened by the tragedy of his death.

Ha Ha Ha [IMG] on the Lombardi Trophy.

Rube is a whinner and a name caller though ... he could be a fag ... he hasn't said one way or another. And who the hell is he to say what or who I can talk about? I must say you've disapointed me a little lately too Dale.

I won't hold a grudge against either of you though.

    Zack,

Well you've finally given away your age. As far as I can remember, calling someone "gay" as a comeback stoped in 9th grade.

It is classless to rip on a dead person who never hurt a flea, and although missguided, had only good intentions. I hated his political views, but as a person I have to admit that you probably couldn't find a nicer, more sincere person. So if you want to rip on him, go ahead and continue to show everyone your ignorance. If you can't tell the difference between a trajic death like Paul's, and the deaths of Marx and Hitler... well I guess this goes back to you having the mental capacity of an eighth grader.

My whole problem with you is that I don't care what is on the top of the page, Moss, Detmer, Batch, Marino, Favre, Rice... the fridge... I DON'T CARE. Heck, put "Mongo" up there, I COULD CARE LESS! You are such a little pouter that you can't stand to see anyone up there that doesn't represent you, or everyone as a whole. Sounds to me like you are the socialist... equal opportunity for all!! I bet when the news story was about the earthquake in Iran, you were pouting that they didn't mention Detroit! My point is, WHO CARES? I just want you to stop pouting about such trivial crap so I can enjoy these forums. The new design looks great, everythings fine, can we just drop the "poor me, I'm from Detroit" bit? Thanks.

Rube "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." As far as Wellstone "never hurting a flea" I beg to differ.

Paul Welfair and people like him have destroyed the black family. Before LBJ's 'Great Society" the overwelming majority of Black families had a father in the home. Now 89% of black women ages 15-24 give birth to bastards. Not only has that hurt those children, it has hurt this country and all of our people. Of course 90% of blacks now vote Democrat, so their mission was accomplished.

I only hope that Paul acknowleged Jesus as his personal savior as his plane headed for the ground. If not he'll burn in Hell for eternity.

As for you trying to turn your whinning onto me ... it'll never work. I never said I lived in Detroit. I live closer to St. Paul or Green Bay. As for you claiming I called you gay ... I was pointing out your professed "LOVE" for Randy Moss and that it may be the source of your pouting. That's a little sick in my opinion, unless you are in 9th grade.

    STOP YOUR WHINNING AND POUTING!

Ok, fine. Enough. I don't want to argue with you. I would, however, like to know how Paul Wellstone and people like him led to the demise of the black family. I'm serious too. Is it the welfare? I think it's funny then that most black people are dems. I've never really understood that. I guess a lot of good intentions may have hurt the black community more than they have helped it. Maybe you can just email me if you don't want to use the forum for this topic? whitefish01@cs.com

    Thanks, have a good one.

Here's an opinion on Welfare I think makes a lot of sence. Most people don't realize that the answers to most of todays ills are in the Bible. The left wants to remove God and his word from all aspects of Government, when you work against God you work for Satan. Olasky's writings make the picture pretty clear.

If it makes you feel any better I've read where Matt Millen is "hot" for Meshawn Johnson! If the Lions sign "Meshawn" I'll be ready to take a some heat! [IMG]

No hard feelings on my part.

    Enjoy this weekend's games.

keyshawn its cause he can actually catch that damn
ball. Myself i wouldnt think it be bad move for the
lions. I would love this for my team it helps take
keys contract off our hands and we wouldnt have
    a bad cap hit.
