some better answer... that was more of a filibuster avoiding the BS talking point I'd called you on

I gave you a few shots at admitting you were wrong. Instead you've tried to redefine the subject, posted an irrelevant video, and concluded by repeating your BS talking point and claiming it as truth. Repeating a lie doesn't make it any more true. Lieberman and the Blue Dogs were never ever going to be voting as a block with the other Democratic Senators as anyone who followed this knows. It seems the truth is the last thing you're after.

    So whatever dude...

As concise as I can make it:
They did vote as a bloc. Not a single republican vote. Passed cloture (no filibuster, because 60 votes is filibuster proof). They didn't involve republicans along the way, because they didn't need a single vote.

So where's this "never" you speak of?

They also had to bribe Ben Nelson of NE (Cornhusker Kickback) and Mary Landrieau of LA (Louisiana Purchase) with hundreds of millions of dollars in federal Medicaid exemptions that the other 48 states will cover for those two states to even get cloture.

Anybody who thinks that ObamaCare would have passed without a 60-member Dem Senate is detached from reality.
