    Now that this nothing burger has been concluded, what do the Democrats run on? Abolishing ICE? Lowering voting age to 16? Abolishing the electoral college? Green New Deal?

    Hate to break it to some of you fine folks on the left side of the political spectrum, but in the wise words of DJ Khaled;

    Yes, I don't think there is a good word. At least nothing better than Politics.
    I look at it this way, I don't care if you don't like Trump. Don't care if you never do, but there is goodness in following our Constitution and the procedures there in.
    That includes respecting those duly elected as the Constitution proscribes. Elections are the preferred method removing those you dislike, and impeachment when necessary. It does not include continuous persecution via never ending investigations and interference. Founding document strongly support this view.

    While I would never hope to change the view of a person about the man holding the office, I do hope to help see the benefits of our process in selecting him/her and sending them on their way. 1 in a 1000 is a win.

    Honestly I always thought I was conservative, but maybe Im more of a fence rider. Id vote for anyone who actually seems sane, not completely self-indulgent, and wants to bring people to the table for discussions and to address the things we disagree on.
    Id like to see the republicans trot out a real Candidate against Trump, and the Democrats to roll out someone who isnt as extreme as Bernie.
    Seems like the “left” has plenty of people who could run on just not being Trump...

    Ah, yes the old tried and true “we will give you money in return for a vote” strategy. Doesn’t sound like a bribe at all, nope, not at all.

    The left in my opinion is alienating those to the center FAR more than the right. In fact, I’d say the Republican Party of 2019 is center-right with most of Trump’s actual policies. The Democratic Party has gone so far to the left that they look like a bunch of Gender Studies Majors that studied abroad in European socialist countries.

    I think if you watch TV and read twitter they come across that way, but in reality when you actually talk to them in person while some are very extreme (just like republicans), most people are much more reasonable then portrayed as. You could probably say the same for republicans.

    I am close to the middle myself. Too far left or right is dangerous for this country. It is very difficult though to meet in the middle and have discussions that go anywhere because there is such a divide. Its a shame.

    agree, but if they go to far left with the Dem Socialism message they will lose the south and midwest.
    Im hoping Mark Cuban runs as he's fairly balanced and would also helps us uleash the innovation this country needs to keep up with China and other tech oriented countries. He would not be afraid of challenging the swamp or status quo and I believe he would keep control of government spending. He's socially liberal, moderately conservative and would be a lot of fun. Whats wrong with having fun with politics and being president.

    Im with you 100%. Unless someone can mediate with two willing parties and conciliate ideas that would bridge the gaps it will continue to be insane.

    I like Mark Cuban, although I don't really know anything about his politics. Hard to imagine him as a Socialist though.

    "Shifty" Adam Schiff was just arrested for Abusing an Animal Corpse after PETA filed a complaint that the disgraced deep state lobbyist refused to stop publicly beating a dead horse. :tsktsk:

    He's toast now. Failed to bring it. End of Story

    I find it hard to believe the US government allow him (via Justice) to indict 26 Russian over this. Since we know it is meaningless, it is a childish way to conduct foreign relations. No profit, no gain. Hell, it would make more sense to hold the cards, and arrest them if and when they set foot on US Soil again. I guess it did raise the coup tally though.
