Music: Your flavor of the month?

How many times did I listen to that while in Basic Training in the Army at Ft. Lewis. Countless, that's how many. You've brought back a flood of old memories.

 

Love me some Savoy Brown. Got to see them live at the Paramount in the early 70's. Great band as this was during what I consider their best lineup with Dave Walker as the lead singer. Just an FYI 3/4's of Savoy Brown (Lonesome Dave Peverett, Tony Stevens and Roger Earl) eventually left the band and formed Foghat with Rod Price on lead Guitar. My favorite album was Street Corner Talking which rendition was formed after the other members left to form Foghat. Savoy Brown has probably had more lineups than any other band but always remained solid. Here's a song from early Savoy Brown with Lonesome Dave on vocals. This song was later reproduced by Foghat and for as good as Kim Simmonds was in Savoy Brown, I think Rod Price owned the song when redone by Foghat.

 

I would call that Blues, some of my favorite jazz.

I remember the days of Mom driving my brother and I around as kids while enjoying some of her favorite songs. Brings back the good memories!

 

Everytime I see Ballet, it makes my ankles hurt. The flexibility it must take to get your legs and feet to do that stuff without snapping.

 

Haha. I am flexible in some ways, but there's no way I would try that or the splits.

 

I know I should be looking at other things when a pretty girl is dancing, but I just stare at their feet thinking how do you do that...
