    Been listening to the last two albums by this band for a couple of weeks now. Usually I wouldn't like this kind of music but for some reason I don't mind them.

    So that's what P.O.D. is up to these days...? Aside from the high pitched vocals in the chorus, reminds a lot of them...

    My old laptop died last summer and I finally loaded all of my music on my new laptop. Its like rediscovering all of my songs again.

    Today's flavor is Aesop Rock. I still dig his more recent stuff, but his 2 blockhead produced albums (the 1st one here isn't) were perfect.

    Wow! Rep'ed... just added this to the archives. Very soulful with the note bending, also with an understanding that it's not about the notes you play, but the notes you don't play. Can't get enough of that style of guitar playing. Going to be listening to that one ad nauseum.

    Reminds me of my favorite, John Frusciante. Even though his body of work is trivialized somewhat by music snobs based on his involvement with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, he's the best there is for my money, as are the Chilis when he's the guitarist, because Frusciante basically wrote and produced their best works, like By The Way (as an album... the title track isn't that great).

    Tracks like this (with a pretty cool fan video) are why I love the Frusciante's work. Just imagine Anthony Kiedis wasn't the leading vocalist and Frusciante, the guitarist, background vocalist, and architect of the track put it out himself separate from RHCP... without Kiedis' vocals... (this song wasn't even on an album btw, it's a B-Side)...

    Sorry for the double post, but I don't know who this guy is, and he makes kickass non-single Chili videos.

    I wish I could tag like on Facebook, but I'll just PM, because I think Mamba would dig this stuff as well.

    The best RHCP tracks were not singles, and this guy makes videos out of some of those non-singles. pairing them with some awesome in sync imagery -
