Love that song, but save yourself the trouble and don't listen to any more of Hopsin's music. None of it is even close to as good as this.

Good to know; maybe his future work will be more like this.

I guess he has a couple other decent ones.. but most of it is garbage. And I used to actually listen to it.

I've been really grooving on "Tame Impala". They have this modern Beatle's vibe going on; which is awesome!!!!

Here is their most popular song; although it's not my favorite.

Just stop trolling, BigGameDamian. It's annoying, but it's not that annoying to just skip over your posts.

I dig it... haven't heard of those guys, but is that really your favorite song, or just your favorite song/video combo? Reminds me of this video, set to "A Swedish Love Story" clips -

    ----

Also, completely unrelated, but I was listening to some Sirius radio earlier, tuned into the Artie Lange show, and apparently most people, even older than myself don't have an awareness of Beatles music. He had on some MTV personality that was about my age, and nobody knew "A Day in the Life," so I've got to post it for the people of my generation who apparently never knew good music -

WTF?! I can't believe there are people that don't know Beatles. Then again, the younger generation are diluting classic music. The kids these days are aware of their parent's music; which would be music from the 80's I guess.

As for the guy similar of age as you... That is criminal!!!!!!

Also, I love the hidden meaning of Paul crashing his car.

    Who was on the brass?

I've got to post another song from Foxygen's latest album, We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic. I've really been getting into it... probably had most of these tracks on repeat for the last month. For a modern day "alt" rock band, these guys are a great throwback to 60's rock. I posted their single off this album, "San Francisco," which is probably the best track, but "No Destruction" is catchy as well.

It's interesting looking at the comments on the videos, because tracks like this get a lot of people to reference Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Mick Jagger, John Lennon, and then tracks like "Oh Yeah" get T-Rex/Marc Bolan references. Regardless, they've definitely got a throwback sound, like a better version of what the Redwalls tried to accomplish. If any classic rock fans dig the sound and want to check out more though, "San Francisco" and "Shuggie" are probably the best examples of their work. I just don't want to double-post songs that I've already posted.

Some covers are better than the original, like Old Crowe Medicine Show's cover of "Wagon Wheel."

Then, some covers just straight up murder and take their rightful place as the performers of certain songs... like Jimi Hendrix's cover of "All Along the Watchtower."

For my money, the Fugees cover of "Killing Me Softly," by Roberta Flack, not only murders it but also puts them in the rightful place as "the group that did 'Killing Me Softly.'"

Though, I like Otis Redding's version (at least from the Monterey Pop Festival), but off the top of my head the most well know/liked cover has to be Aretha Franklin's Respect.

Oh and another great cover was Johnny Cash's Hurt
