All I said was those dunks should be saved for the regular season. What's the point of doing that in a preseason game? I have seen many injuries come from those kind of dunks, on both the dunker and the 'dunkee'. The number one priority for every player during a preseason game is to avoid getting injured. Preseason games should not be about showboating, but if the players want to give their fans something special they still need to make sure it wont cause injuries. What if Mutombo got injured? Would it be fair to the Rockets organization if that happened? I suppose we will agree to disagree then (I hate it too). I just don't see the huge injury risk in dunking on someone, especially considering it's been a staple of Howard's offensive game since he's been in the league.
