My dad coached and taught at Grant for 30 years..... he just retired, but subs there every now and then. He has subbed for a few of my sons classes which is kinda' cool.
True story. Ran cross country for Reynolds High School in Troutdale. We had a meet at Grant. My team and I were wearing our Reynolds singlets, and were warming up. Ran past the Grant guys who said, where the fuck is Reynolds. So we stopped and told them Troutdale. They said, where the fuck is that? In the boonies?
Suburbs bruh. It was a good place to grow up. We went to school with the kids in Rockwood. The Troutdale area was the richer kids lol.
Hell no. It's nicer than Gresham. Gresham has too many shitty places. Only good spot in Gresham is out by powell valley or the highland area.
The only reason you think it's nicer is because the gorge wind blows away the garbage and chewing tobacco to Gresham.
All I remember about it was they had an outlet mall, some aluminum plant and it was the last place to gas up before going to Multnomah falls. Lol at it not being the boonies
Pretty awesome man. I would never post this stuff for the same reason I don't want kids. I'd be totally paranoid about it. The bragging part is well deserved. Half of me is jealous and half of me is relieved. My nieces are the same as your kids. Dominating soccer and gymnastics and softball.
