I travel around the Portland metro area extensively and am ALWAYS dropping calls with T-Mobile. I'm ready to fire them!! Is there a way to find out if Sprint's coverage will fare well? BTW, Thanks! I just may pull the trigger on this deal.
So, I suppose the process is...sign up with the new service (Sprint) and they'll then engage my current phone number, then close the old (T-Mobile) account at that same time for me?
Pulling the trigger right now.....on-line...with a tech right there (via chat) to walk me through the process. This is great!
Shit, if you're on T-mobile you should have just gone to the store to get the Nexus 4 on contract. Stores should have them in stock now and if not they should be available on their site on the 23rd. Or, if you wanted an iphone they are supposed to carry in in the next few months.
Been with Sprint for several years. Love their service--except at my house (I apparently live in a dead spot). I almost never drop calls. I think you'll be pleased.
Thanks, Denny. I appreciate all of your input. I'm now set to go. Signed up for Sprint's 450 $79.99 plan (thanks, El Presidente!), along with the iPhone 5. Purchased all the other gear (case, screen protectors, lightning/usb charger, etc.) this morning. This is gonna be funz!!
You should be able to use your phone as a WiFi hotspot, too. Your laptop, or iPad, or whatever, can share the phone's internet connection. The phone acts like a WiFi router.
