maybe u should look at how many balls thrown to the WR and how many he catches then determine if hes good or bad. i dont know the numbers, but if i did, id expect to see a good ratio, like 5 REC for every 7 passes. something like that, that should be a stat,

jerry rice would never be great if he didnt get enough passes in his direction

I'm still not a believer (totally) in the Bears this year though. I agree with Beefs musings in another thread that they are a great fit for the cover 2. I also (as you well know) am a big fan of the KC offensive machine; I'm just not sure it can be implemented in one off-season. Let's see how well Thomas Jones looks before I pass judgement though. It's a win-win situation for me. If the Bears do bad, I can talk smack to 4th at work. If they explode, I have Jones in the fantasy league. The cold hard truth is, until January, I don't care which NFC team makes it to the Big Game. I do, however, have a vested interest in the AFC team that makes it. I have been a believer in Chicago since that big season a few years back. I even picked them to win their division last year! I just don't want them to let me down again. This year, I'll probably take the Vikes for that division, but I still have a week or so to make up my mind. Don't worry, I'll try not to agree with you too often. [IMG] But, when you're right - You're right.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (kcgsc)</div><div class='quotemain'>I can't believe I'm going to agree with BF1 here, but I am. I have never went to my trade screen in Madden and thought, "Omigosh! Can I possibly swing a trade for one of those explosive Patriot WRs!" I think, the WRs, like the Defense, work very well for your specific situation. The fact that there is no superstar helps make it easier to spread the balls around. I do think Brady is THE talent though. (Even if I don't personally like him). I think Troy Brown was nearing "very good" (not elite) status 3 years or so ago, but has since lost a step. I think B. Johnson is super fast, but I dont think anyone will compare them to the Rice-Taylors, Moss-Carters or the Holt-Bruces of the football world anytime soon.</div>

See this is the thing....where have I ever said that they are elite great or even compared them to Moss Rice or any future hall of famer??? No where...so please read what I say All I have argued is that the receivers aren't "SCRUBS" as BF1 called it. And the only thing I ever said about bethal Johnson was that corners will have a tough time running with him if they can't slow him down.....did I say he was gonna be some HOF got to guy for the next 2,000 years NO....but it seems to me that you all want to think I wrote that. Oh ya and what the hell does madden have to do with it?

You guys honestly are to much...lol

Hey Pats, you know how you like to hack on me about Fantasy football. Well, your boys are the defending NFL Champs, so we must conspire against you now. lol! I was merely inferring that their overall rankings do not inspire me to want to pick them up on Madden. I didn't say your WRs were "scrubs". I was just agreeing with BF1s opinions on their skill levels.

not really, I wouldnt want Jake Delholme either, there are much better QBs out there, with all respect to what hes done in Carolina, hes not a top 10 QB...

Hold on kids! How can any division w/ The Colts & Titans be weak? Last year, The NFC east was weaker than the AFC South.</div>

The titans are junk this year and everyone knows it they have 1 solid position and thats QB thats iT

The are still srcubs. One game does not change that fact. How bout bethel johnson 5 yards. I bet D - Coords are shaking in thier boots now. You know your reciever suceeded by brady's skill not by thier own let it go. The colts are clearly the better team.
