It was meant as a jab at Sly. I would never say that about a decent person like you.

Hard times, eh. Can't even afford a Holliday Inn. You could have at least checked into a Best Western.

Do you know what FTA meant back in the late 60s?
It meant Fuck the Army. Nobody wanted to be in the Army in those days. I've heard that I got to take Trump's place, who was painfully and regrettably out with, bone spurs, so I'm gonna say FTT.

Good to hear the tumor was benign and hope the other issues are able to be taken care of as well. We had a serious situation happen several years ago when my daughter was going into her senior year and was prepping to play soccer for her school. She noticed a bulge in her stomach and showed her mom and we took her to the doctor and they did an MRI and found a large mass in her abdomen. The doctor lined us up with a surgeon who happened to also be a friend as my son and his son played on the same club soccer team and we went over what the plan was. He was also a soccer player and said his plan was to be unevasive as possible, but if he isn't able to he would have to make a large up and down incision and she would be laid up for awhile and miss her senior year of soccer. Well, after 5 hours of surgery the doctor came out and said he got it all and that he was able to do it with a small incision. H e said the tumor was weighed in at a little over 10 lbs. He said all indication was that it was benign but the tumor was sent in for analysis just to be sure. It checked out benign and she was actually playing her first soccer game less than 2 weeks after surgery.

Hang in there buddy and hope your issue gets taken care of.

Yep, the first field was the one at Delta Park and now they are all over the place. I played baseball at Civic Stadium (Providence Park) when they had the old astro turf and that was like playing on cement with a rubber coated ball.

There is a cancer connection with crumb rubber fields. You should look into it.

Her days of playing are long gone and not sure of the exact composition of the ones she has played on anyway as the majority of her games were on natural grass fields.

Believe there might be some class action lawsuits and all she should have to prove is she played on such surfaces and had a documented medical condition similar to other victims.

I'll keep an eye out for anything as I am sure they would likely contact people who were registered for club or school soccer. Thanks for the heads up.

I like scars but I only know of the best ones coming from sword fights. Now those are fun. I guess that means there's some Hun in me or at least some Nordic blood.
