I'll post my 06-07 list as well: 1. Kobe Bryant 2. Lebron James 3. Dirk Nowitzki 4. Kevin Garnett 5. Tim Duncan 6. Elton Brand 7. Dwyane Wade 8. Yao Ming 9. Steve Nash 10. Carmelo Anthony/Chris Paul/T-Mac/AI Edit- There you go AI. I have less conviction with the performances of #8-10. Those could be swapped around due to various things.
Yes good point, I'd have him at ten or one of those "less conviction" slots I was talking about. He had a career year I didn't expect. But I don't know if he can keep it up (e.g. better shooters like Nash/Stockton last longer), oh well, good luck to him.
1. D-Wade 2. LBJ 3. Kobe Bryant 4. Carmelo Anthony 4. Dwight Howard 5. Chris Paul 6. Steve Nash 7. Tmac 8. Gilbert Arena 9. Dirk 10. KG Not in any specific order. After I review it, this really isn't a Top player list. I, for some reason put the players I think will improve to ELITE in this coming season. Just like Chris Paul, Carmelo, Dwight. I think they will step their game onto another level.

^ Your posts are always so intelligent. Each of us are now less knowledgeable fans for having read them. Here's my list: 1) Dwyane Wade 2) Lebron James 3) Kevin Garnett 4) Dirk Nowitzki 5) Kobe Bryant 6) Elton Brand 7) Tim Duncan 8) Gilbert Arenas 9) Carmello Anthony 10) Dwight Howard/ Chris Paul On the bubble: Amare (has to prove that his injury hasn't effected him too much), Nash (he's getting older), Bosh (due fo a big year, and could end up cracking the top 10), Paul Pierce (has to actually win this year). Wade and Lebron are going to rule the league next year, but for me it comes down to the fact that Wade has a ring and Bron doesn't. If KG's team actually gels and produces next year, I don't see why he doesn't put up 22, 12, 5 and 2.
No offense but to put D-Wade over Kobe and Lebron is pretty rediculous. Didn't Lebron tortured the Pistons? And, Didn't Kobe tortured the Mavs for 62, 81? What make you think these two guys can't get big number against Dallas in the Final?. If Kobe or Lebron are to substitute for D-Wade on Miami Heats, they probably win championship anyway. Not to mention, during the regular season, Kobe and Lebron are the two most electrifying players, putting up historical number night in and night out. To say D-Wade will elevate his game next season that will surpass Kobe and Lebron is just your assumption. Kobe and Lebron can elevate their game to another level next season too. Honestly I would put Kobe and Lebron ahead of D-Wade until he proven to play at a higher level than Kobe and Lebron for 82 games. 1. Kobe Bryant <> Lebron James 2. Lebron James <> Kobe Bryant 3. Dwyane Wade 4. Dirk Nowitzki 5. Kevin Garnett 6. Tim Duncan 7. Elton Brand 8. Amare Stourdemire (if healthy) 8) Tmac (if healthy) 9) Carmello Anthony 10) Yao Ming

You're putting a guy who admittedly had one very promising rookie season (non-playoffs) over the 2-time reigning MVP? I know Nash is a bit overrated to be MVP but at the very least he's a top 10 player in the league. I bet if you asked NBA players, Nash would be top 10 easy, if not top 5. His court vision is unparalleled. So what that he has a nine-inch vertical? I don't see Josh Smith on the top 10 list. And saying that he's old is nuts. LIke you go from having the season he had last year to what, being a hobbling bench-warmer? come on, respect your elders. Chris Paul has a long ways to go before he has Nash's career. He may end up having a better one but as of now, he's still a second-year player.

Many analysts and experts have already agreed with this. He won and ESPY for "best NBA player". Obviously I can tell by your name that you are a Kobe fan-boy, so don't act like your opinion is unbiased and completely correct. I may not be unbiased either, but I know I'm not the only one with this opinion. I'd also argue that Wade is more electrifying than Kobe and Bron. He had more NBATV top 10 appearances, and he became the fan-favourite in Japan over Lebron, to the point where he got a standing-O the game he didn't even play in.
