I have no bias in how I edit or remove insults. Ask Dviss, Riverman, and many others on the "left" who have gotten as upset as you over posts being deleted or edited for personal insult. We have had this discussion before. Just because a post is insulting to you doesn't mean it's a personal insult. Insults are "policed" by myself and others as fairly as possible. If someone does insult you and if it is missed by myself or others please point it and if it is an insult I will gladly remove it. Saying that Trump is a cocksucker is not a personal insult about the people who voted for him. Deleting several of your posts out of the 16,795 you have made doesn't prove bias. It actually proves the opposite. In this thread you said, "only an ass would say..." "only an asshole would say" and you called someone a fucker. I actually left the fucker one because while it was not meant for me it was in reply to my post but those are all 3 personal insults.
Are you denying that more people voted for Clinton? and that was even with trump getting help from Russia.

It is not Calling Trump this, it when the liberal refers to the Trump voter as a "Trump Cocksucker " and other low live comments of similar nature that I find insulting far beyond simple calling some one an asshole. In general, the difference in what is insulting is probably quite different for the liberal than it is for the conservative. The differences between the two is far more than just how they vote. We both know if you took a vote in this forum as to whether you moderate fairly, I am sure you would be approved by the vast majority. Not at all surprising, the liberals out number the conservative maybe 15 to 1 in here. And I chuckle at what is considered insulting, it does not match with my view at all and that is usually ok. But once again, you did delete one of my post as insulting when it was not in my view. I did not even call the man an asshole, I said the comment was and asshole comment. I could not have spoken the truth more plain, no insult intended. It was straight forward honest communication from the heart. This was deleted and it did piss me off. I have tried several times to communicate these difference with you and fail each time. But I would point out, that the people the get banned in here or get piss and quit, have been way more conservatives than liberal thinkers. Each time that happens, I wince. I would hate to see this place become completely a sanctuary for the liberal pity party. It's nearly there but saved by the tenacity of the few.

We are never going to have a rule here that if you, MarAzul, find something offensive then you are allowed to insult them because of it. When you do find an opinion that is offense to you I suggest you do which you do 99% of the time, which is explain why it is offense to you and make a counterargument. As far as making this into a liberal vs conservative thing that is just not true. It's easily a 60/40 split between the basketball section of the forum and the OT section of the forum when it comes to personal insults being deleted or edited. Also over the years I know I have edited or deleted far more personals directed at you then insults by you. People get pissed and quit for a variety of reasons. The majority of people who have quit this forum over the years has been because of opinions on the Blazers and basketball, not politics. The 3 people you're referring to who were permanently banned, 1 was banned in 2014 for repeatedly insulting people, the other 2, one banned by Denny and one banned by myself, were banned for saying vile racist things in the forum. All three bannings had nothing to do with politics. NOTHING.
I'm relatively new to this board but this is the worst case of a message board melt down I have witnessed in years...and the sad thing is that it was self-inflicted.
what's really sad is that marzy can't even be honest about what he posted that got him deleted. I remember the posts when they were made and I knew that they would likely be deleted as they were definitely personal attacks and mainly on lanny.
