America is extremely repressed when it comes to nudity and sexuality. I really don't see this as any big deal at all
When I saw I really thought nothing of it...just a weird family. Not a picture I would ever post on the internet for sure... that was pretty dumb (if they did it and not the phtographer)... but the picture itself... just a goofy family photo. I was kind of shocked to see how other people interepted it. To me it is kind of sick that they would see it the way they did.
Feminism started this anti-sex campaign around 1970, the legal system enthusiastically jumped aboard, and after 40 years of the media drilling us daily against anything related to sex, people are unable to think any other way anymore.
No, I think the media has been drilling us daily (pun intended here?) with sexual images. Hence, when we see any skin, we think sex. So, when we see that picture, we think that it's sexualizing children or somesuch nonsense.
