Other players I enjoyed watching PG: Rod Strickland PG/SG: Danny Ainge SG: Steve Smith, Wesley Matthews PF: Rasheed Wallace C: Przybilla
I don't know if this is just because it's fresh, but my mind is blown on those that don't think Aldridge is our best PF of all time. Offensively, there isn't a player that's even close to him. Defensively he's lower, but his rebounding is phenomenal now.
Lucas was 17.8/11.1 per 36 with a 16.2 PER. LMA is 19.2/8.3 per 36 with a career 20 PER. It's hard to get the right numbers for his time in Portland, but 20.1/11.3/2.9APG, 18.9/10.6, 2.9, 20.6/10.5/3.1, and 18.0/9.9/3.8 in ~4 seasons. Pretty close, but Mo was a 5-time all star and made 1st and 2nd nba all defensive teams. LMA is 3-time all-star, never made the all defensive teams.
Top 7 PG - Terry Porter, Rod Strickland, Damon Stoudamire, Damien Lillard, Johnny Davis, Kelvin Ransey, Kenny Anderson SG - Clyde Drexler, Geoff Petrie, Jim Paxson, Brandon Roy, Lionel Hollins, Bonzi Wells, Wesley Mathews SF - Jerome Kersey, Scottie Pippen, Clifford Robinson, Kiki Vandeweghe, NIc Batum, Calvin Natt, Bobby Gross PF - LaMarcus Aldridge, Rasheed Wallace, Zach Randolph, Mychal Thompson, Maurice Lucas, Brian Grant, Buck Williams C - Arvydas Sabonis, Bill Walton, Kevin Duckworth, Wayne Cooper, Joel Pryzbilla, Sam Bowie, Chris Dudley (Lopez will move up the ladder but he's only been here for less than a year)
Adelman, Carlisle (only one with a ring as a head coach), McKinney, M. Williams, D'Antoni, Lynam, Triano, Bickerstaff, Harter, Wetzel, Schalow, Dean Demopolis (sp?), Herb Brown,
Sheed had more techs and brian grant elbowed the shit out of malone. Aldridge has time to catch up though.
I really liked Anthony and Augmon, so they'd make my top 5. I don't blame Uncle Cliffy for his playoff choking, but if might him off my top 5, definitely off my top 3.
Maybe Walton Bowie Oden Roy Ramos or perhaps Patterson Wells Cunningham Wallace Stoudamire Don't Ban Me!
this is my starting 5 if it would been smart draft picks and player coming over. pg-clyde sg-jordan sf-cliff pf-kersey c-sabonis here is my all-time players pg-porter/lillard/petrie sg-drexler/roy/rudy fernandez sf-cliff/kersey/batum pf-LA/lucas/sheed c-waltons/sabonis/lopez

Denny - I have MThompson as a PF (#4 all time) but you're correct he played C for us most of his career. Might have honorable mention there behind Walton, Duck and Sabas!
