What is wrong about liking another team more than your home team? It would be hard to follow it, but I have a feeling a lot of people enjoyed watching the Suns the last two season (including me).

Nas delivered with this album. This disk is wayyyyyy better than Streets Disciple. HHD actually has a direction to it, and its a tight album.

If you want the CD just hit me up.

I'm just gonna wait. I haven't been reading any reviews or listening to any leaked songs. I listened to 30 seconds of Blunt Ashes though, I wanted to hear what Chris Webber did. I just think it's one of those CD's that I gotta add to my collection like MrJ said.

Very good CD. I'm tempted to say it's the best of the year, but I haven't heard More Fish yet and apparently Mos Def's latest album is coming out at the end of this month.

Chrisette Michele has a real nice voice. I liked the tracks she was in.

But I'm still going to say Food & Liquour has album of the year

I like his slightly better than Nas's

Nas sucks. he's one of the ones who killed hip-hop.
he put out the same album six times. rapping about the corner drug dealer and scarface and john gotti 3 times per album every album for 10 years is not keeping hip-hop alive.

Also at least Nas didn't sell out.

I like Jay but he went from songs like 22 Twos, and Dead Presidents II, to songs like Big Pimpin, Money Ain't A Thing, more poppy songs.......thats whats called selling out. Nas stuck to his roots buddy.

yeah, i'll give you that, he didnt do the cheesy pop sellout.
he did however, have one classic album and then try to repeat that success over and over again instead of being a true artist and having the guts to change and try something different. he's played it about as safe as you can get, if you can't see that then you're blind. look at what Andre 3000 does. now that is a real artist - a rarity in today's hip-hop world.

Why change when you execute at what you do? Reggie Miller had a killer 3 point shot, but an ugly technique, so why would he change it. Just trying to make an analogy here.

All Andre 3000 did was stop eating meat and start singing some fruity hooks.

Nas concept on HHD is sick.

I admit Nas has had some bad albums, but most of his material that I have heard is tight imo

my point is by sticking to the exact same subject matter and the same type of beats over several years, Nas becomes boring. when Nas becomes boring, other people such as Nelly and T.I. and Lil Jon and 50 Cent get opportunties. That's what kills hip-hop.
