One interesting thing to come out of this is that only 100/13,000 tests were positive. Of those 100, half were from tainted supplements. So the rate at which fighters are failing is 0.4% intentional and 0.4% unintentional. Less than 1% total.
He tested for SARMS or something like that...its basically very popular in tainted supplements. And from what I've read, it doesn't make sense to just take the 1 supplement..usually you mix it in with other supplements and you end up looking like a Romero or a Costa, not like a Nate. I don't usually believe most fighters, but for some reason I believe Nate. He just does not seem like the type and even if he did; this isn't what he would pop for. As of right now, the fight is still on. The NYSC is reviewing the case, USADA and UFC have not pulled Nate. Nate wants his name cleared, which they should be able to do. This is the same thing that Neil Magny popped for; but he was cleared and fought last month.
You and I think the same way on this. The Diaz brothers are some of the only guys in all of MMA I believe would never take PED's on purpose. I would honestly be shocked to find out one of them did. I originally assumed he popped hot for weed.
