Great play ... but he fouled him. The little guy is always going to get the benefit of that call.

Who would of thought? Even with the foul, it's pretty amazing for a 5'7 guard to stuff a 7'6 center.

Great play by Nate Robinson, I couldn't see the foul, but there definitely could have been one.

It doesn't take anything away from the Rockets win though lol.

Heck of a play by Nate on that. I saw it on SC and they replayed it countless times. To Yao's defense...he didn't really jump. Regardless, there's 2 feet difference in height between those two, so that's still a spectaculary block and amazing display of leaping ability and timing by Nate.

On the Yao Ming - Nate play, was the block itself clean, and the foul afterwards?

I don't think it was that hard of a foul if any. Anytime someone two feet shorter than you stuffs you it's cormendable.

And ... that was about the only positive thing that happened for the Knicks, the WHOLE game. [IMG]
And ... I even doubt Nate didn't foul Yao ... hey, but whatever gets this Knicks forums going.

You won by 7. Calm down.

The "foul" wasn't even that hard. If called, it would have been a ticky tack foul, especially considering the foul was AFTER he blocked Yao.

    Actually, it has.

Steve Francis stuffed Shaq, if I remember correctly.

What is the difference? that Nate has blocked Yao?

Well I'm sure plenty of players have blocked Shaq that are under 6'6. Those kind of things don't define a player, it is the entire career of thousands of shots that really defines them. Although we like to sum up a person to one play.

I kind of hated Nate Robinson since last year's dunk contest. The guy just won the dunk contest against Iggy because he was so short. They liked his dunk more because he was short. Thats my opinion though. Also, on that play I give him props for the block but he fouled Yao as well. Good play though.

Shard said it, and now I'm gonna say it. Nate Robinson is the closest thing to Jesus on this planet.

Why would you hate Nate? He didn't vote for himself. If anything hate Kenny Smith.

He hit Yao in the face after he blocked the shot. Didn't notice that until I just watching the clip again. It was clean until he followed all the way through. 5'8 blocking 7'5, incredible having a 21 inch advantage in height. It's the equalvalent to the time Tyrone Bogues blocked Patrick Ewing a long long long long time ago lol.

It was a foul, however it was after the block made by Nate.
