He is a great spark to have on your team and these last two games he has had 25 and 29 points. He is a good scorer, passer, and one of the best free throw shooters in the game.</div>That's cause youre a homer. They are both pretty good shooters, maybe Nate has the slight advantage. Nate's the better defender, better slasher, more athletic, and Nate shoots 46% whereas Boykins shoots only 37%.So why would you take Boykins? It doesn't make sense to me.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>No, you dmmy. 3pt fg% shows who has the better long range shot though. I don't know about you, but I would much rather have a 46% shooter than a 37% shooter if they average about the same # of points...</div>CB4, You don't get it. Percentages do not show who is the better SHOOTER. They show all the shots you make. Layups, dunks, jump shots, ect. Nate Robinson is the better three point shooter but he doesn't have a better mid range jumper.
I was talking about 3 point shooting the whole time. Okay, Earl has the better mid range, but still; the guy only shoots 37%, which means he has a very poor shot selection, and that is a detriment to an offense.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I was talking about 3 point shooting the whole time</div>Well, No wonder we couldn't get on the same page.

He jumps higher than a 6 footer!!!</div>I love how when he did it, it sparked Sportscenter to replay ALL of the blocks from someone extremely short blocking someone much taller. They even used one of their daily polls to decide which one was the best of all time. With this topic here though, it depends on who else is on the team. If I don't have a clear cut #1 option on offense, I'd want Nate to help take the scoring load. If I have a guy like Lebron or Melo (for example), I'd want Boykins, he's a better set up man.
I'll take Robinson on this one; he's younger and still developing, note as well that he has alot of talent riding on him. The only downside right now is playing on the Knicks. Of course that couldn't be such a bad thing, but then again it could with Isiah Thomas being the Head Coach, and drama still churning from last Friday night's brawl.
gotta to go with boykins, only because he can flat out score for his height, and his jumper is probably better.
I made this topic not to long ago. I gotta go with Boykins cus hes more fundamentally sound and is a more versital scorer.
Boykins without a doubt. Nate is overrated because of his dunking skills. Boykins is a great scorer for his size and can dish it off good.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (blitzburgh55 @ Jan 19 2007, 11:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Earl Boykins for sure Nate Robinsion is overated Boykins is a all around player</div>All around player? Lol. All he does is score. He isn't an all around player at all.
saying that nate is better than boykins now is just ludacris. Boykins is and always has been a stud offensive player he just is a liability on d as is nate. Nate is nowhere near a good defender even though he is a bit better than boykins. Gimme boykins though any day of the week. A much better dyanamic offensive player and can play the role of number 1 2 or 3 scorer. He excells in a ton of different situations.
I'll take Nate because of his explosiveness, and he provides more energy than Boykins when he's on the floor.
