Kim Jong-un is also an NBA fan, in case anyone has the audacity to hurt his feelings...

    Morey?

He tweeted "Fight for Freedom" which is a call to violence.

He should have known what the reaction would have been. Morey has always been a dumbfuck.

I'd be suprised if any of the players would be allowed to speak at all.

John Hancock tweeted the declaration, and Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Ben Franklin all re-tweeted it.

Can you imagine just how many tweets it took to send the entire declaration?

@THE HCP the Declaration of Independence was not tweeted out originally

Not the Morey tweet, the first response from the league that was just a few lines

My opinion on this is getting a bit more clear. I originally and still feel the Morey tweet was pretty dumb from a guy in his position.

But my feeling on the entire situation is "Fuck China!".

I don't give a rats azz if they drop the NBA altogether. Maybe the Chinese people will eventually get tired of their government?

Dropping the NBA is the least of the NBA's problems. Chinese companies could simply pull out of producing NBA goods or increase the cost of those goods.

This is how China will be operating in the future when they rule the world.

They will literally bulldoze the opposition.

Personally, I would take the common sense approach, making it clear that in our culture, we can distinguish between
what a government does and the people who are governed. If ANY government (including our own) does what we consider wrong-doing, they
will be called out. This is not an indictment on the actual Chinese people, or any other people.

Unfortunately, I don't think the common sense approach would work :(
