Bynum didn't get the "official" Chicago measuring,at least it wasn't public-so there was rumor he measured at 7-0 barefoot and 7-6 wingspan. Fact? [IMG]
If there is that sort of size,it gets interesting. Bynum did not exhibit major flaws, bad hands, bad feet, chronic lethargy etc,so LA saw pretty good odds he'd be a guy who needs development-but seems a great candidate to eventually be real good.

Not being a LAKER fan since Magic left,I feared LAL would take G Green. A lineup with Kobe,Odum and Green would be a matchup nightmare [IMG] Charlie V? [IMG] MIGHT become a pretty good player, had a team picked him later, and had a player like him been the need-fine,but at that slot [IMG]

The Celts really did well, having the sense to accept the gifts left on the table. Green and Gomes? [IMG] Celtics may have added more where they were already good-but they really gain in impact talent, would not have found a ready to go center there anyhow.

In addition, I've reported info on this site, such as the Utah draft trade, the Knicks secret West Coast visit with Frye, aswell as several Chicago Camp info, which I took the time, in the middle of the night to post, sometimes days before NBADRAFT.net, and DRAFTCITY.com and in some cases even ESPN Insider. So, to question me and claim I "read reports and copy them" is flat out disrespectful and in no way shows any appreciation for the information I've provided everyone with. I would like to however, thank all of you who DID show your appreciation, replied to all the things I dropped on this site, and always welcomed what ever I could find out during my NY, Chicago, and Florida tips. You are all very welcome.

Why dont u apply for Chad Ford`s job at espn???
it appears u r better at providing good info than u r at basketball....seems like a good career move?

what about Louis Williams guys.... considering he got put into the perfect position with Iverson, don't you think this guy is a steal for a 2nd rounder?

Terminator-X, I actually was a broadcast journalism major in college. Things like that is what I was planning for my career. I actually was in the last call running on ESPN for Dream Job. Both times. Just didnt make it to the finals. I'm more or a strict basketball head anyway. I'd love to strap it up and go head to head with Steven A Smith and Greg Anthony and Tim Legler. However, seeing as I'm still currently playing basketball, I have time, I have patience, and when my career is over, you better belive the first thing I do is bust my ass to get a job for ABC, ESPN, or Fox Sports. My cousin currently works as an on field reporter for Fox Sports and the Mets. So, I will try to get my foot into any door I can.

Taft, Petro, Warrick, Green, and May and Indian's pick were all steals. I see all of them playing great.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting KICKSDADDY613:</div><div class="quote_post">Have you seen Andrew Bynum play? He doesnt have a tenth of the athleticism of Amare. Not even close. He has size, period. He could NEVER do half the things on the floor that Stat can.

Their picks, with the exception of Ukic, sucked, period. I have nothing against CV3, except who was passed up to select him. Again, I love Joey Graham, thought he was a good pick and once had him at 16 in a mock, however, that mock did not have Green or Granger left on the board. It had nothing to do with the ESPN gentlman, (who by the way, get paid to say what they say, and get paid for their opinion, so it's more accurate than most, even if you disagree) Secondly, if you were to read my article on Draft Winners and Losers, I tabbed the Lakers there, not just for the Bynum choice at 10, but for who they passed on in the second round aswell. And to top it all off, attacking May being a bad choice for Charlotte, cuz he plays the same position as Okafor is a 2 fold false hood. #1 May will play PF and Okafor is being played at C. Which at 6-10 and his wingspan, he can do in the East. #2 picking the NCAA Tourney MOP and a First Team All American who averaged a double double, at pick 13, his WAY better drafting that picking a questioned heart, desire, work ethic player who couldnt put up decent numbers on a team he should have been the go to player. I'm done now. Class is dismissed.</div>

Raptors draft was great i'm really happy with it. I dont think its fair to call CV on "questioned heart, desire, work ethic player" without explaning that stance. His coaches and people around him raved about him and the improvement he made since he came into the NCAA. At first he had his problems, but he did work them out and had his coaches(and a damn good coach at that) blessing. Besides, the kid is soooo young. Think of the possibility of Bosh and CV a few years from now.

Ronny Turaif. He was chosen in the late second round and is pure energy. He is a machine on the boards and for the Lakers to get him late second round is definalty a steal. Green is overrated and I don't think he'll make it far in the NBA.

This might not be as big a steal as the ones that everyone has mentioned before, but Louis Williams in the second round was a steal. If any other team picked him at the same spot, it wouldn't be a steal. Just the fact that the Sixers have AI, and that LW is the same type of player as AI... that makes things look REAL good. I'm expecting LW to turn into a AI type of player, sorta like how AI tutored Larry Hughes.
