    alright here what i was going to say,


    talking about guarding Rondo, I believe it shouldn't be Kobe all the time, because that'll leave Fisher on Allen and we all know through how many screens he takes his defender on every play. Best for Lakers would be IMO to switch back and forth, have Kobe one play, then Fisher, so that way neither Rondo or Allen get used to same defense or get hot . So basically it comes down to matchups and which coach will be better and quicker at changing the style of play to take an advantage. (something Phil is a master at, but we're going to find out in two weeks if Doc is any good lol)

    it's going to be a great series, two top teams (talent wise (as whole team), and defensively) fighting for the number 1 spot.

    I just think Fisher is going to get his minutes cut so Farmar and Brown can guard whichever guy Kobe is not.

    My prediction is Lakers in 6. It's going to be tough on anyone chasing Ray Allen around, but I think Fisher is better suited to defend him. Fisher knows how to fight through screens and punish the screener. KG likes to set moving picks and Fisher should be able to take advantage of those getting some offensive foul calls by pointing it out to the officials that KG is hip checking and not squaring up when goes to set the pick.

    The key is going to be not being forced to double team down low. If Kobe is defending Rondo he can't lose sight of him to help in the post because Rondo will cut to the rim for offensive rebounds.

    No we need him to space the floor for Kobe. Like ShapeCity mentioned Fish is good at fighting through screens and drawing moving screens.

    I agree Shapecity. KG and Perk move on their screens constantly and Derek does not lay on screens he fights through them so he will probably get some calls to go against the Celtics as he chases Ray around. I read a Game 1 preview this morning that thinks Kobe will guard Rondo and Fisher will chase Ray. Author thinks Ray needs a big game for Celtics to win.

    "The Celtics will run Ray Allen off of screen after screen and Derek Fisher will do his best to fight through them. However, the six-foot-five Allen will get his share of good looks over the six-foot-one Fisher. If the Celtics want to win Game 1 Allen will have to shoot a high percentage and make a couple of threes to boot."
