Just wondering, is it legal for someone to bear hug the opposing player to prevent them from getting a rebound?

To Lamar's credit, I've seen at least a few of his shots go half way down and come back out. He's just not getting any breaks tonight.

It's a regular foul. </div> Well, it's not really a regular foul. By bearhugging them...you're not really going for the ball and might get whistled for an intentional foul.
Great job by Gasol here recently. Gets another offensive board and a put back. Glad to see Odom going to the hoop aggressively as well, now if only he'd finish.
