Gasol attacks the rim, how awkward for him it should be.

What the hell, a Gasol And 1? Never saw that coming.

    Gasol with 2 straight baskets.

And puts the 4th foul on kg.

And it's switched back to PJ again.

I'm not sure where that foul was on KG...again.

    Oh...nevermind, just reversed the reversal.

I have to admit I completely agree with Kobe's defense on Rondo around the perimeter.

Bad defense again on Pierce but he seems to have cooled down.

Hey at least it is 5 minutes into the quarter and he only has 3.

Ugh we need to do something though.

It seems the Lakers don't have a perimeter defender to stop Pierce from getting to the basket.

Radman cannot handle him at all. It has been like that the whole series.

Its an elimination game. Either Kobe needs to step up and make the switch himself or Jackson needs to make that switch to guard Pierce.

I should say that should have been done in the second quarter when Pierce was going to town. Can't now with the four fouls.

Damn, with 4 fouls Kobe can't be as aggressive anymore. And Fisher cannot put the ball on the floor well.

Haha, thank you Fish. Make them shut up for a while.

It seems we have stopped the onslaught.

Kobe did get on Pierce in the second. He rests the first few minutes though of that quarter.

    Just edited.

Its really simple. Lakers have one guy who can guard Pierce. Lakers have a lot of guys who should be able to score. If you're going to put Radmanovic and Farmar on Pierce all night, Kobe will need atleast 35.

I don't trust Farmar or Radman to score in this series. The Celtics seem to build on their lead when Farmar is in the game too.

I wonder if Ira Newble would be effective guarding Pierce. It wouldn't hurt to give it a try, right?

Oh yeah, I forgot, Phil doesn't play him anyways, even though he gave one legged Chris Mihm some playing time
