I'll say it now, we fucked up. KG choked tonight..ugh. Bricked both of his free throws. We were missing Perkins big time at the start of the game and because of it our bigs that we use down the stretch were in foul trouble..PJ Brown..Kevin Garnett. The Lakers attacked in the paint early and that big lead they got early was good enough to hold on. They didn't play as good as they should have tonight though IMO..

BTW, I didn't have a problem with Phil's substitutions today. I thought Vlad needed to get pulled today, and Ariza is just someone PJ doesn't trust with that injury I suppose. He must be kind of pissed at Ronny too.

You guys didn't have to win today, the Lakers did. You guys now have two chances at home to finish us off, where we are 0-4 this season. Hopefully he'll find his game soon, we're not winning the series if he doesn't play at a high level in game 6, and game 7 assuming we can make it that far

Yeah I'm not too worried heading into the next two games. I only become worried knowing Kobe's greatness if we lose game 6. It's like playing against Lebron in game 7, you just don't want that to happen. It's even worse with Kobe because as he showed in the 1st quarter he can go nuts from 3 unlike LeBrick. I think we can close out in six though. I told myself I wouldn't get mad tonight but I did because the game was practically in our hands with a few minutes to play and we didn't execute or hit FT's.

I didn't cheer this team this far only to give up on them, but what I'm saying is, this type of play won't cut it on the road. I'm sure we'll be able to step up for game 6 though, well, we have no choice but to step up if we want to continue playing basketball. Also, the Celtics are only 1 game away from the championship, we are 2. Putting everything into perspective, and taking the season in as a whole, 2 games doesn't really seem like that much. I have faith we'll be able to pull through in the end, but Kobe definitely needs to start shooting at a higher percentage. And before I forget, about KG, he's a terrific player and all, but honestly, I wouldn't trust him anymore than I would trust Lamar in clutch situations. He turns into Casper the ghost

I'm interested in what Phil will say to this team to motivate them for game 6 Hopefully his mind games will work out positively for us

It's gonna be a hell of a game but I think Boston takes it. Our home crowd is such an advantage and a tool for us to use. And our defense on Kobe has been superb. He just went crazy from 3 early on but besides that he was extremely quiet for the last three quarters.

If we're going to win the series, then we're going to make history. But I, like most Laker fans, have come too far just to give up on this team. There's still hope we can win the series, as little as there is, but hope is still there. Call me crazy all you want, but I still believe the Lakers will win this, no matter how impossible it may seem. The series isn't over until someone wins 4, and that has yet to happen...
Yeah..of course you don't give up. It's the Finals and still just one game separates them. I just think as tonight showed, every time the Lakers get a big lead they're going to have the 24 point comeback in the back of their heads. It's just natural as a human being. Boston's not going to fall behind by 20 at home..LA isn't going to have that cushion to fall on like they did tonight. We're a much different team at home then we are on the road. I just think you guys are being a bit too optimistic in thinking "well, all we need to do is win game 6" Game 6 is in Boston, an extremely hostile environment..and as I said we're a completely different monster at home. It's not going to be as easy as "well all we have to do is win game 6"...you thought the role players played nutty in game 4? Wait until game 6 with the chance to win the championship, the first in Boston since 1986. They're gonna feed off the crowd.
Good game by the Lakers even though the Celtics let it slip away and pretty much gave the game away. KG missing the free throws and Paul with 2 turnovers back to back did it. Can't wait for game 6 personally. KG will go for 30 pts and 20 rbs. (or close to it lol) Good luck again. (just not too much)

We still had a chance to win with those two sucking it up. We were missing our starting center and our starting point guard was just horrible, killing us on the offensive end. I'm pretty sure that we'll be in a much better position going into game 6 than LA. It wasn't as if Garnett's done a damn thing all series.
