It's the Finals and still just one game separates them. I just think as tonight showed, every time the Lakers get a big lead they're going to have the 24 point comeback in the back of their heads. It's just natural as a human being. Boston's not going to fall behind by 20 at home..LA isn't going to have that cushion to fall on like they did tonight. We're a much different team at home then we are on the road.

    I just think you guys are being a bit too optimistic in thinking "well, all we need to do is win game 6"

    Game 6 is in Boston, an extremely hostile environment..and as I said we're a completely different monster at home. It's not going to be as easy as "well all we have to do is win game 6"...you thought the role players played nutty in game 4? Wait until game 6 with the chance to win the championship, the first in Boston since 1986. They're gonna feed off the crowd.</div>

    Yeah our role players sucked, but Kobe didn't exactly destroy you either, that's why I'm optimistic. Every single game in this series is close.

    What I'm trying to say, is that the Lakers are actually the better team in this series, but because of the huge choke, they are down 3-2. I just don't think they'll choke again, and anything can happen in these close Boston games.
    </div>

    Well it wasn't as if Garnett or Allen did anything in this game. We still had a chance to win with those two sucking it up. We were missing our starting center and our starting point guard was just horrible, killing us on the offensive end. I'm pretty sure that we'll be in a much better position going into game 6 than LA. It wasn't as if Garnett's done a damn thing all series.

    And no no no the Lakers are NOT a better team and have NOT been the better team in this series. That's a complete lie...
    </div>

    Of course the lakers being "better" is arguable. I understand why you think otherwise. However it doesn't change the fact that this particular Celtics team, will probably face another close game on Tuesday.

    I seriously doubt that LA has as good of a chance as you say. Their role players aren't gonna do a damn thing against Boston in Boston. How has LA been a better team..honestly? Game 4 wasn't a close game at all. From midway through the 2nd quarter on we outscored you like 73-40...That's close? Sounds like a blowout in which the Celtics just got off to a bad start to me. LA has not been the better team..no ****ing way. If they were the better team they would have closed out these close games.

    Vujacic was ass in Boston, Radmanavic was ass in Boston, Turiaf did nothing, Gasol was a pussy, Odom was a pussy..Kobe bored me in Boston, he didn't do much.

    If I'm predicting a Los Angeles series win, then that would make us the better team. I don't think you'll hold on, why? Because Kobe will probably play better. If not you win, simple as that.

    What makes you think Kobe is going to go off? He's 46-109 from the field in the series..Kobe "going off" really has nothing to do with it. It has to do with the role players stepping up, which I don't see happening in Boston.

    So why haven't the Celtics blown us out with all these lame role players? And Kobe has already played well in Boston in Game 2.

    The Celtics have already played the most games for a team in NBA history, and Paul Pierce played 47 minutes, and 58 seconds tonight.

    [IMG] I dunno...we just don't close games out well. We probably would of blown you guys out in game 2 but we started cruising in the 4th and didn't decide to play with a sense of urgency until it was within 2 points. This isn't a team that puts the nail in the coffin. They just find a way to win.

    Over at LG someone said they heard on AM 570 Ray Allen left right after the game because of a family emergency.

    Hope things are alright.

    I hear his daughter got Diabetes.

    Sorry to hear that, but I think she can recover and live very well in this modern age.

    i liked the game 2night. Almost got a heart attack at the end when boston made their final run.
    I think LO and Pau played really well. LO really has the confidence right noe ( Took a 3pointer in the 4th qtr. and just look how confident helooked at the post game presser) Pau finally aggressive, hope he continues to play like that and this might be the key to win game 6.

    i just have one question. Why to they play the finals in a 2 day rhythm. Why do they rush this. i think 3 day rhythm woul be ok, especially on those game where the teams have to travel.

    I'm pretty sure this will help the Lakers. The Celtics are older and have already played a historic number of games because it took them so long to eliminate their first two foes.

    Nice win by the Lakers. Odom and Pau looked great statistically, but they had some very soft plays during the first half. Gasol needs to roll harder to the basket, not pick and watch Kobe dribble. I still believe the Lakers can win this. This series can still go either way, but in a grind it out game, I really think the Lakers have the edge. Due to the fact, they have the most consistent scorer in the NBA.

    Looking back at highlights, Farmar actually took it to the hole pretty good.
