I'm not sure if you can get too optimistic with that.</div> His problem is less his man-to-man defense and more his sinewy frame. I think he can hang with almost every PF, and if not, surely Bynum can match up on defense against those players. Where Gasol kills us is with his inability to box out and grab rebounds. With another seven footer in the post next year, combined with Odom, I think we're the run-away favorites to win it next year.

I mean, maybe we could've excused it the first time when he laid an egg against Detroit in '04. Maybe we could've given him a pass two seasons later, when he surrendered a game 7 in embarrassing fashion. You could've blamed his troubles that year and the next year to his lackluster supporting cast, if you wanted. He had no excuses this year. He couldn't figure out the Celtics defense and they were able to completely neutralize him on balance. I don't remember Jordan ever being unable to figure out an opposing defense over a seven game series. Never. So yeah. Kobe, I watched Michael Jordan. I knew Michael Jordan, he was a friend for many years. Kobe, you're no Michael Jordan. ... That said, I like our chances next year with KB24 and a real center. That girly excuse we have at center right now is embarrassing to watch.</div> No one is Michael Jordan imo.

i´m just wondering, what happened to kobe , he was one on one with House - instead going to the hoop he passed thze ball. WHY????
I realize that the Lakers are young and the Celtics aren't. But there's not three 40 year olds out there. They've all been around the block, but they're not retiring this off-season. That said, I'm not sure how you can watch this and think that Bynum would make that much of a difference. Its not talent or matchups. Its mentality. The Celtics have been celebrating for the entire fourth quarter and have been playing better defense than the Lakers have in this entire game.
It's pretty much over... I don't think Kobe is putting much effort, like it or not. Yes I get my money though, lucky me right? Should've bet 200 bucks
Ugh...........Bynum would make a whole world of difference. Pau is a natural 4-man, he would play the 4 w/ Bynum. We are a WEAK rebounding and interior defensive team, that will change with Bynum. Twin Tower effect works WONDERS in the NBA. Perking+KG<<<<<<Bynum+Pau Lamar is moved down to the 3, where he can take over the game better off the dribble having smaller players guarding him.
