That's not even a game face or a pissed at the refs face. That's his burger face too.

Pau is a natural 4-man, he would play the 4 w/ Bynum. We are a WEAK rebounding and interior defensive team, that will change with Bynum. Twin Tower effect works WONDERS in the NBA. Perking+KG<<<<<<Bynum+Pau Lamar is moved down to the 3, where he can take over the game better off the dribble having smaller players guarding him.</div> Keep telling yourself that, point iz it was a ass whoopin </div> it was, and cant say i didnt see it coming. but anybody is STUPID if they dont think the Lakers are gonna be the team to beat in the LEAGUE (not the Celtics) next season w/ our roster on 100%. Plus, we are going to add at least another solid vet. this team is looking VERY attractive to unrestricted free agents this summer.
In spite of the big drubbing, Odom actually had a decent game for the Lakers. 14 points, 10 boards, he shot 16 FTA, and dished 5 assists. He did miss 6 of those 16 FTA, tho.
I was rooting for the Lakers, but I'm glad Garnett got his ring <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mgNGTzwc6Vg&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mgNGTzwc6Vg&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>
Yep. People wanted KG to step up. And oh boy did he. Watching Boston's defense the whole game, even after the game was decided was plain scary. Lakers could get absolutely nothing going.

I mean, maybe we could've excused it the first time when he laid an egg against Detroit in '04. Maybe we could've given him a pass two seasons later, when he surrendered a game 7 in embarrassing fashion. You could've blamed his troubles that year and the next year to his lackluster supporting cast, if you wanted. He had no excuses this year. He couldn't figure out the Celtics defense and they were able to completely neutralize him on balance. I don't remember Jordan ever being unable to figure out an opposing defense over a seven game series. Never. So yeah. Kobe, I watched Michael Jordan. I knew Michael Jordan, he was a friend for many years. Kobe, you're no Michael Jordan. ... That said, I like our chances next year with KB24 and a real center. That girly excuse we have at center right now is embarrassing to watch.</div> No one is Michael Jordan imo. </div> Pretty easy to say that now, sure. I agree with you. </div> I'm not going to start talking trash just cause he isn't Jordan. </div> Was I talking trash? Please, I love Kobe and I'm the biggest Lakers fan you'll never meet. But am I glad the silly Kobe>=Jordan argument has finally been put to rest? Absolutely. </div> I think you're talking trash, I don't base my life on a small selected number of games at the end. To say "Absolutely" sounds harsh, not that I rank Kobe above Michael btw. I also didn't see anyone bring up Jordan in this thread prior to your post. The media hypes that up.

With the way KG has played this series, I'm not sure a Kobe/Garnett duo would have won anything. As a matter of fact, we probably wouldn't have even made it to the Finals since Garnett required like half our roster
Dude, we saw it coming early tonight, it would have been emotional if it was close. And I'm not guaranteeing jack next year, I'll keep watching though. I'm pragmatic after the Final results are in. I do think we'll be good though.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (huevonkiller @ Jun 18 2008, 12:07 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>There was no clear cut choice I suppose.</div> Well I agree with the Pierce choice, he played good D on Kobe and he was big for the Celtics offense when they needed to make pushes, and was good at playmaking. KG struggled offensively, especially compared to other playoff series this year, until this game, although he played great D. And Allen I think was great especially with his clutch layups in their huge comebacks, and finding his offense in the Finals., hitting some big shots. If I had 20 votes to vote the Finals MVP on, I'd probably give 8 to Pierce, 6 to Allen, and 6 to KG.
I want it noted that I blame myself for this loss as I couldn't watch it due to my brother's graduation and an entire family dinner for it. Sorry guys, I'm usually very diligent when it comes to watching the games.
