I have my pick ready. If you don't respond in a couple minutes, SOL.</div>
Make your pick. I need a couple minutes to think my pick over with the rest of
    the Atlanta Hawks FO.

JEEZZ Sorryy! I didn't think anyone would care, after all, names and pictures were posted in the Hot Chicks thread during the draft. Apparently, this is much more serious.

Somebody tried to do this above and posted a player who could legitimately go in the last couple of rounds.

Yes, as is Iverson. He may be old, but he's still (arguably) the best little man to ever play.

I would have taken Iverson if Arenas was gone by my pick.

However, I had Iverson last year and nobody liked my team because of him.

I like the pick a lot, I just don't think many other people will. I took him last year and people dogged me on it. I did take him earlier though, but that also wasn't after a year he missed a ton of games.

Damn it Denny with a steal.

He was the top player on that list I was talking about. Should have been a 1st round pick.

And you can probably pick up Tiny Archibald and Michael Adams with your next couple picks!

I thought you had the right idea with the backcourt last year. It was AI and Rip right? Good combo of defense(Rip) and AI able to get him open.

I'd guess yes but I'd probably be wrong.

The reasons people dislike AI are understandable, but he plays hard every game, wears his heart on his sleeve, and is a competitor. If a superstar is available at pick 38, you take him.

I think AI is very popular with both the fans and the media. His toughness and tenacity has completely overtaken his earlier immaturity and his image has changed a lot over the years.

His shooting percentage, on the other hand, is something that's harder to live with.

AI and Rip and Boozer, Dampier and Bowen were my starters.
Luke Walton, Ruben Patterson, and Johan Petro first three off my bench.

4 of the 5 starters were studly defenders, and 3 were good scorers.

He shot 46% last season and was 3rd in the league in scoring. 7+ APG and 2 SPG, too.

Yes, but he did shoot nearly 46% last season, which is excellent for a player like him.
