Cmon put this 3 hours to select picks. 6 hours is to long.

He could probably defend some centers with ease like Ben Wallace, Marcus Camby, Dirk (when playing center), Biedrins, etc. But obviously he would have a hard time stopping Yao, Shaq in the 1st half, or Dwight.

The last draft had 6 hour limits, and went from August 9th to September 29th. About a month, 20 days...should take up a good chunk of time during the off-season, which is good IMO.

It's been like this for the past 3 years and it's worked each time. And I don't think we ever had anywhere near this much complaining about the time.

I meant a month AND 20 days. As in, about 50 days... [IMG]

Wouldn't any center outside of Jason Collins have trouble guarding D-Ho, Yao and young Shaq?
The point is that people always say things like "SF are a dime a dozen, but you can't get a dominant big man". Well, LeBron is even harder to get than that.

Is this like the real NBA? Is the most incompetent GM constantly speed dialing Stern complaining about the job he's doing? [IMG]

That really does make you appreciate how good Collins was/is. I remember the set-shot Willy days. Good times.

For the record, I'm well aware of who I selected Deron Williams over, and yes, I know what I'm doing.

IMO Deron went just right, maybe 2 or 3 picks lower than he should've been picked (as in, 2 or 3 not as good picks before him)

I can't think of any other PG I would have selected over Williams. Chris Paul is the only guy I had ahead of Deron on my board.

Of course, you might not be talking solely about PG's.

DWill was 10th on my list of BPA tbh. I thought for a second he might actually fall to me.

See, the draft is starting to move at a pretty good clip now.
