You mean that poll where Aldridge was 3.6% points higher than Davis?

Then there's still this from the GM poll

    Tied with KEVIN DURANT

The homers here can try and fight to fight this off, but Davis is at least on par with Aldridge right now, and there's no doubt Davis will be the better player going forward.

    Sorry.

RoyToy still believes we lost to Houston, I think. He appears to be a Roy fan but Roy never delivered us to second round as number 1 option. No back to back 40+ games on the road.

By the way, I believe Aldridge had the most 20/20 games last season.

Also, Steph Curry said Aldridge was the third best player in the NBA last season.

This isn't a vote for who "will be" the best power forward. It's a vote of "who is" meaning right now, who is the best PF i. The game.

Isn't close? Ehhh. Statistically they're pretty close and basing off the average NBA players 3rd year jump... Davis is gonna be crazy good (barring injury of course).

Um yeah because Davis has more years, more upside and so on. But those same GMs say "aldridge is best right now". Something you keep ignoring.

I don't believe any of this.

First of all, Blake has some work to do on his game before he get's to LA's level. One his low post game and two his permieter game. He's great in the open court. But def he isn't there yet.

I look at Davis as more of a 5.

I think you and Roytoy are missing the OP. We aren't talking about what will happen. We are talking about what is happening now.

And Davis is not even close to as good as Aldridge is now. End of story...

Start another thread and talk about "who will be the best PF 3 years from now" and the forum would probably agree with you

Griffin was tied in the GM poll as best PF in the NBA

The GM poll means everything (only because Aldridge is #1 though). If he was #3 I'm sure the poll would be discredited around here.

    I respectfully disagree.

LA is the more rounded player.

Well I'm being told that the GM poll is the definitive answer to every question

We know your game Roytoy. A couple years ago, you talked about how Aldridge is a great PF, etc. that's because the majority didn't think this way. Now that the fan base agrees Aldridge is the best, you have to say no.

You just want to disagree with the forum. Your posting style and tactics are weak ass dog shit

    Aldridge:

    23.2 PPG / 11.1 RPG / 2.6 APG / 1 BPG / 0.9 SPG / .458 FG% / .822 FT%

    Davis:

    20.8 PPG / 10 RPG / 1.6 APG / 2.8 BPG / 1.3 SPG / .519 FG% / .791 FT %

    It's certainly close.

What were Aldridge's playoff stats in the 2013 playoffs?

    2013-2014 Hornets 34 wins > 2012-2013 Blazers 33 wins

To be fair though, I'm saying Davis' 3rd year. Which is in fact now.

I think the problem here (as it usually is) is that 99% of the forum only watches and follows the Blazers. They're oblivious to what else is happening around the league.
