While the world of European basketball is waiting for Zeljko Obradovic‘s own version of “The Decision,” the most decorated coach ever in the continent ruled out the – quite slim already – possibility that the next season will find him in the NBA.

“Certainly not in the NBA,” Obradovic said regarding where he’ll coach next season in an interview with Serbian magazine Nin, per Mozzart Sport. “I think it’s a vicious circle that will be very difficult to break. They don’t trust coaches from Europe, that’s obvious. Even coaches who are actually Americans like David Blatt, who began and worked as a coach in Israel.” Blatt coached the Cleveland Cavaliers from a year and a half before he was fired midway through 2015-2016 despite having a 30-11 record that season and 83 – 40 overall.
